An Obama adviser has confirmed that Barack and Hillary aare close to finalizing her appointment to the position of Secretary of state.Obama is convinced the advantages of Clinton serving far outweighed potential downsides, the adviser said.
An official announcement isn’t expected until after the Thanksgiving holiday. Hilary woud have to resign her New York senate seat to take the position. Source
