"American Gangster" is Getting Folks Canned

Rumors are swirling that the latest round of lay offs at Island Def Jam are directly related to the failure of Jay-Z’s American Gangster. The Label apparently poured millions into the project which has yet to hit platinum status four weeks after its release. Everyone who worked on the project including A&R people and some of Jigga’s closest associates got fired.
I’m not a businessman I’m a business MAN! Riiiiiight. Jay, I like you and all but you really must quit before you cause any more snip snip cuts. K, boo? Thanks!
