Corinne Bailey Rae's Husband Found Dead

British singer Corinne Bailey Rae is no doubt distraught upon hearing that her husband, Jason Rae (saxophonist for Haggis Horns) was found dead . Preliminary reports say that he died of an apparent drug overdose. He was found Saturday afternoon in his London apartment.

A suspect was arrested for supplying Jason with drugs and later released. Corrine, who was married to Jason for almost 7 years, wasn’t around at his time of death. Her record label released the following statement:

"EMI Records would like to offer its sincere condolences to Corinne Bailey Rae and the Rae family at this tragic time," the spokesperson said in a statement to BBC. "We ask that the media respects Corinne's privacy and that of her entire family." Source

Such sad news. It’s got to be hard to loose your significant other, especially in such a tragic and senseless way. Condolences.
