Mase Opens Up Curch Chain

Former rapper Mason “Mase” Betha, who’s become a pastor in recent years, is gearing up to branch out his El Elyon International Church. He’ll be opening the new church in Phoenix to expand on the one he currently has in Atlanta.
“It just makes sense that we are on both coasts,” Mase told AllHipHop.com in a statement. “Our vision has always been to plant churches all over the world, and Phoenix is the first of many. We love the city of Phoenix and look forward to making a tremendous impact.”
After retiring in ’99 Mase came back to music in 2004 but faded again out of the limelight. Source
I don’t know what’s in people’s hearts. But I truly hope he’s being legit. It’s unfortunate how the church has become more of a business or an entertainment venture than a place to serve God.
