McNabb's Wife Gives Birth to Twins

Eagles’ QB, Donovan McNabb welcomed twins on Tuesday (December 2, 2008), when his wife Roxie gave birth to twins, a boy and a girl.
"People talk about how family is the most important thing in your life and it is," McNabb said at a news conference, according to USA Today. "No matter what happens out on the football field, you always know that you go home to the loving individuals who just truly love you for who you are, not what you do."
"I can't sit here and say, 'Yes,' that it wasn't on my mind in the previous weeks," he said. "But I tried to not let if affect my play, knowing that I didn't play as well as I wanted to in the previous weeks."
"When those babies are born and everybody is healthy, it is such a blessing," Brian Dawkins, his teammate who’s wife had twins last year said. "It is such a burden off your shoulders. It's such a release of newfound energy that you really get from that type of life being brought into your household."
