Mehserle shot Oscar J. Grant II , seemingly for no reason and is currently being held without bail for homicide. He was found in Nevada and said that he fled there because he feared for his life due to death threads made against him.
. “This is also very important for the community. This had to occur; it was almost a no-brainer. I think the district attorney ought to be commended for moving (the case) expeditiously,” said John Burris, the Grant’s attorney. Source
I’m no video expert but I saw several angles of that shooting and NONE of them look kosher.
