Lionel Hates Reading Stories about His Girl

Lionel Richie admits that its hard for him to read stories in the media about his daughter Nicole.
Richie said: "It's difficult. As a kid, some things you want to keep secret from your parents. And as a parent, you want to be protective of your kids.
"But in this day and age of celebrity and even non-celebrity, it's hard to keep a secret from anybody.
"The bizarre thing is that all the people who have privacy in their lives then have a MySpace and put it out there. I can't protect her from her life."
He added that he thought about his daughter "every minute of every day" until she got her life back on track.

Well Nicole seems to be doing relaly good for herself right now. So regardless of what the media says he has something to be proud of.
