Updates 39-41: Chris Brown Arrested
Update 39:
So we’re slowly getting more insight into what happened the night that Chrihanna had their…tiff. According to police affidavits CB got a long text from another woman. Rihanna started fighting with him. He tried to push her out of the car but she was strapped in so he just shoved her against the window. Once she faced him he punched her repeatedly with one hand while driving with the other.
Chris then said, “I’m going to beat the **** out of you when we get home. You wait and see.”
As she called her assistant and left a message saying, “I am on my way home. Make sure the cops are there when I get there,” Chris replied, “You just did the stupidest thing ever. I’m going to kill you.”
At one point he put her in a headlock causing her to lose consciousness. Source
I’m assuming this is based off of Rihanna’s statements taken by the police. To give Chris the benefit of the doubt (which I hate to do), we have yet to hear his side of things. But for him this is NOT looking good.
Update 40:
Usher recently ad some comments speaking out against CB and took them back. He originally said, "I'm a little disappointed in this photo. After the other photo [of Rihanna's bruised face posted by TMZ]? C'mon, Chris. Have a little bit of remorse, man. The man's on jet skis? Like, just relaxing in Miami?"
But then he issued a statement to Us Weekly saying, "The comments made during a recent recording session amongst friends were taken out of context and blown out of proportion. I apologize on behalf of myself and my friends if anyone was offended. The intentions were not to pass judgment and we meant no harm. I respect and wish the best for all parties involved.” Source
Hey, it’s already out there. Real talk, we were all thinking that when we saw pics of him looking easy, breezy, beautiful, CoverGirl atop a water ski, did we not?
Update 41:
Chris Brown had to appear in court today and the DA charged him with two felonies, assault and making criminal threats. He faces up to over 4 years in jail. Source
