Man Brutalized by Po-Po in Passaic
"I don't know why he did that," Holloway said. "To this day I still don't know why. I respect the law and police and stuff."
Ronnie can be seen walking without a shirt on and when police get there they, according to Ronnie, tell him to cover himself, which he appears to do. Then an officer gets out of the car.
"He grabbed me with both hands at the collar area real physically hard and just flung me up against the police vehicle."
He’s thrown on the ground and punched several times as well as beaten with a baton.
"I recall him saying, 'get down' as he swung, but he kept swinging like that," Holloway said. "It is a clear case of police brutality and it's got to stop," said Holloway's attorney Nancy Lucianna. "That officer needs to be removed from the police force." The police wont answer any questions and Rios is still on active duty.Ronnie, however was charged with resisting arrest and wandering with intent to buy drugs. Source

I personally haven’t had any run ins with Passaic cops. Clifton and Bloomfield coppers have ALWAYS been way worse. But I think these cops need to be screened on a yearly basis. I get that they have one of the hardest jobs in the world but that doesn’t mean you can lose your shit and go around beating on folks.
NOT OK!
