According to The Sun Amy Winehouse was supposed to start recording her third album in the Bahamas with producer Saleem Remi. But at the last minute she backed out.
A source said, “Island wanted to get her away from it all and thought it would be great surroundings for her. It was a very expensive trip and it was hoped they would make some decent progress recording the album. But Amy pulled out at the last minute. The album was planned for late 2008, but her label is now privately admitting it’s unlikely to happen until 2009.” Source
Dang. Dark or not I’m curious to see what Cousin Amz has up her sleeve…besides track marks. According o the Daily Mail, Amy can’t perform at a US charity event because even though she has a work visa. She was rejected by organizers of the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s annual Costume Institute Gala on May 5th. A source said, “She has been told that she is no longer part of the programme. It will be a huge blow for her as it would have been a great platform to break America. They love her music over there but she has yet to do a tour".
A rep for the event confirmed: “She was asked if she would be interested, and she was considered, but then we moved on from her.” Source
Amy looks like she could use a little charity her damn self. Maybe its better that she rest, relax and try to get better. Reportedly, while doing cocaine at a party Amy was overheard saying, “I've been told I'll lose my looks over this - but I can't give it up! I'm told my scars might never heal. My dermatologist says it's a result of the drugs and it could spread to other parts of my body if I don't quit.”
She’s scared that her hubby Black Fielder-Civil who is in the clink won’t want her anymore if she cant get rid of the scars. She said: “What will I do if I lose my looks? Blake will never love me like that." Source
Say no to drugs and yes to hugs. That's my only advice.
