More Details…
Doctors at one point believed because of Amy’s chronic cough that she may have contracted tuberculosis. She has since tested negative for the disease. Her rep, Chris Goodman, tells People.com, "She has a chest infection and she had a routine test for TB, which came back negative." Source
In the meantime, Amy’s fam has been trying desperately to keep her at the hospital so she has time to detox and get better. In addition to being diagnosed with a an irregular heartbeat her dad has revealed that she has emphysema. He said, “The doctors have told her if she goes back to smoking drugs, it won’t just ruin her voice, it will kill her. There are nodules around the chest and dark marks. She has 70 percent lung capacity.” He continued, “When she’s been inactive work-wise then that’s when the problems really start. The doctors have said that medically there isn’t any reason why she can’t do Glastonbury. If she hadn’t done recent shows in Moscow and Portugal she could have been dead by now. She abstains and regulates her drug use when she has to do a show.” Source

Does she really Dad? Cus damn near ALL of her performances in the recent past have been train wrecks. If you're not blaming it on the drugs and booze then what's her excuse?
