Bernie Mac's Serious Condition

Comedian Bernie Mac is sick and in the hospital due to a serious case of pneumonia. There were reports that he had passed away which the Chicago Sun-Times attributes to sources close to his family that called his condition “very, very critical.” His publicist Danica Smith called the death rumors false saying, “Bernie Mac is still alive and being treated in a Chicago hospital for pneumonia, and is expected to make a full recovery.” Source

Update: Bernie Mac Has succumb to complications due to pneumonia.
Bernie Mac entered the hospital on August 1, 2008 for Pneumonia where he remained until his death on August 9, 2008. Mac was no stranger to illness. He’s been suffering from sarcoidosis, an inflammatory lung disease that produces tiny lumps of cells in the body's organs, since 1983. He said the disease went into remission in 2005 and always contended that it didn’t affect his lifestyle. Mac was 50 years old.
Condolences to his family. We’ll miss you Uncle Bernie!
