J-Lo Averts Testifying for Diddy

Jennifer Lopez has dodged a bullet, as they say, and won’t be forced to testify in a lawsuit that’s been filed against her ex, Sean Combs, over his involvement in a 1999 club shooting. J-Lo was dating puffy at the time and was with him the night the shots were fired that injured two people. Diddy’s then protégé, Jamal “Shyne” Barrow, took the rap for the shooting and is serving a 10 year sentence. And both men are named in the $130 million dollar suit by Natania Reuben who was shot in the face during the incident.
J-Lo was subpoenaed by Reuben’s lawyers but it was found that she didn’t have anything to contribute so the subpoena was cancelled. Source
As soon as that shooting happened Jenny from the block came out of her Mandingo induced haze and stayed as far away from Puffy as possible. And rightly so, there’s something about him that just ain’t right.
