'How Does It Feel' Ruined D'Angelo

Dominique Trenier, D’Angelo’s former manager, blames the “Untitled” video for his downward spiral. Trenier says that he urged D’Angelo to do the video naked and this opened him up to a fan base who only wanted to see him in all his godly glory.
He says in the August 2008 issue of Spin Magazine:
“I feel really guilty, because that was never the intention. “Untitled” wasn’t supposed to be his mission statement for Voodoo. I’m glad the video did what it did, but he and I were both disappointed because, to this day, in the general public’s memory, he’s the naked dude.” - Source
Who knew? One would think he would soak it all in but I suppose that unless your name is Thunder and you work at the Thick and Long club that having women objectify you like that is off putting. Lord knows my face was pressed up against the tv screen hoping it was possible to see where that ‘V’ or as I sometimes call it “love lines’ lead to. Sweet lorda mighty!
