Political Poop '08

John McCain has decided to show up at the debate tonight afterall. He originally said he was going to suspend his campaign to deal with our economic crisis. He said he wasn’t going to attend if an agreement hadn’t been reached on a $700 billion bailout plan for Wall Street. Some saw the move as brilliant…others a big blunder. In any event he’s taken it all back and the first presidential debate will go on as planned.
"He is optimistic that there has been significant progress toward a bipartisan agreement now that there is a framework for all parties to be represented in negotiations, including Rep. [Roy] Blunt as a designated negotiator for House Republicans," the campaign said in a statement.
"The McCain campaign is resuming all activities and the senator will travel to the debate this afternoon."
I’ll be watching…will you?

Obamapolooza!!!... There is growing support for Barack Obama in the Latino community and many A-List Latino celebs are taking their crusade to the net. Check out a commercial of the Obamistas* campaigning.

*Obamista (noun): a Latino who not only supports Sen. Barack Obama in the 2008 Presidential election, but tells their friends, their compadres, their comadres, their primos, their novios, their neighbors, their co-workers, and even strangers to vote for Barack Obama as well. They likely wear pimped out Obama t-shirts, deck their car out with “Latinos for Obama” bumper stickers, and are probably organizing an election day block party where calls of “Si Se Puede” and “Viva Obama” will ring out all through the night.

Still Riding the Soul, er, I mean Obama Train… During a recent show Pharrell Williams took a stab at Sarah Palin. The crowd was chanting “Obama” when Pharrell said, "So I guess I don’t have to ask. So we feel the same way," said Pharrell. "We’re gonna do what we gotta do to make sure that the person that goes after Osama is not holding a baby in one hand and a soccer ball in the other. Ok, cool."
"But she’s a hot MILF though, isn’t she?" he added.

THIS IS CONSIDERED CAMPAIGNING AND CAMPAIGNING IS NOT ALLOWED AT THE POLLS. ONCE FOLKS HAVE TO GO HOME TO CHANGE THEY’RE LESS LIKELY TO COME BACK OUT TO VOTE.
