Poor Katy Perry

Katy Perry has been back peddling and defending herself and her music for weeks now. She’s had to defend her song “Your So Gay” to gay rights activists and her song “I Kissed a Girl” to moral groups. Well in the latest attack on her, the folks at The Havens Corners Church in Blacklick, Ohio have remixed “I Kissed a girl”.
The original lyrics go:
“I kissed a girl and I liked it.”
The remixed lyrics which are on a sign posted outside the church go:
“I kissed a girl and I liked it…Then I went to hell.”
OMFG! Hahahaha! That has to be one of the funniest things I’ve EVER heard. The church’s pastor, Rev. Dave Allison, says that the sign is “a loving warning to teens” since the bible preaches that homosexuality is a sin. Source
Haahahahaha! I’m sorry, I shouldn’t laugh but I really can’t help it. I like the original song but the remix is so damn funny I may have to sing it that way from now on. I should call up the folks over at Havens Corners and see if they’re going to record it. I NEED to have that on cassette.
BTW, check out Katy back when she was a Christian pop artist back before she was kissin’ girls and such.
PS- I think it’s ironic that she’s nestled herself in a bush…haha…I crack me up sometimes.
