Al Sharpton is PISSED!

Uncle Al is up in arms over some remarks made in the New York Post. In an article by columnist Steve Serby about Plaxico Burress getting benched he wrote, “Good for Tom Coughlin. Good for Coughlin for tightening the noose around Plaxico Burress.”
Al said, “Clearly, the racial connotation is very disturbing. … This is the verbal reflection of a hanging noose.” “If we don’t see action, I will lay out exactly what that is … we would like to talk to someone there about whether it was the writer or editor who let this in.”
I think this guy was looking to enrage people…and it worked. Any reference to nooses, lynching or anything of the sort when referring to an African-American is disgusting. In this case, it isn’t even necessary or relavant. Source
