Janet Has to Can Nastiness for Michigan Show

Janet Jackson had to remove some of her raunchier material from her performance in Michigan due to obscenity laws. In part of her show she brings a male member on stage and engages in this S&M act with him but she had to drop it from her routine because strict state laws prohibit simulating sex acts during a public performance.A spokesman for the venue says, "We explained the law, asked her not to do it, she complied. We did not ask her to cut the song. That was her call."Jackson's manager Kenneth Crear explained: "Janet did not want to disappoint her Detroit-area fans again, so we adhered to Michigan's state ordinance and trimmed the Discipline segment of the show so it would not be cancelled."
He says this because she’s already cancelled a date earlier in her tour due to her mystery headache illness. Source
Man, this tour just can’t get any steam. Too bad, so sad.
