Obama’s First Press Conference as President Elect…

In the above vid Obama addresses our financial issues and the difficult nature of bringing the change he proimssed us. I’m thining that he’ll have a similar path as Clinton had. It took him a minute but he definitely changed our country. Don’t worry Obama, I think if you just ask for a little help bruh, we’ll all be there to have you’re back. Source

Project Runway contestants design inaugural gown for Michelle Obama… Past contestents of “Project Runway” were challenged by The Daily Beat to design a dress for Michelle. The challenge? They’re only allowed to use Laura Bush’s 2005 Inaugural Ball dress, an American Flag, a burlap potato sack, and $10 work of trims. Source
Yea, this is all well and good but I’m going to have to veto the potato sack. What is she?! A slave!???
NO WE WON’T! NO WE WON’T! NO WE WON’T!

Barack’s aunt may be deported back to Kenya…
According to the Associated Press Zeituni Onyango, Barack’s father’s half sister, may be deported to Kenya. She was living in an apartment in Boston for five years before fleeing to live with relatives in Cleveland after it was found out that she was ordered to leave the country in 2004. She had applied for asylum but it was denied by a judge and told to return to Kenya.
“President-elect Obama does not know the details of Ms. Onyango’s legal situation, but as stated previously, he expects that all outstanding issues would be resolved through the appropriate legal process,” Obama spokesman Ben LaBolt said Friday.
“She had never asked Barack for help. She just doesn’t want to hurt him,” she said. Source
Sasha and Maia’s new perks for moving into the White House… Sasha, 7, and Malia, 10, will be the youngest children in the White House since the Kennedys were there. What kinda fun ish will they be privy to? Well, there’s a grand piano, an all-weather tennis court, a pastry shop, a swimming pool, a bowling alley, and a movie theather (with a popcorn cart). Also on hand are a staff of ushers and pastry chefs waiting to fill their bellies with treats and clcean up after that puppy daddy promised.
"Her rules (Mommy-In-Chief) reign," retired White House Chief Usher Gary J. Walters says. But, former White House Social Secretary Capricia Marshall, who served under the Clintons, says the girls can expect to be pampered. "When a day hasn't gone right, the butlers will make sure you have your favorite dessert."

Yea, that sounds like a blast…but something tells me that Michelle and Barack will find a way to keep the girls grounded.
Shoot, forget getting adopted by Brangelina, can I be adopted by the Obamas?!?!

Beyonce is volunteering to perform at the Inauguration… Beyonce is so excited that Barack won that she has already volunteered to sing at his Inauguration. She says that when he was voted in on Election night she "fell asleep crying and smiling at the same time" and woke up "with mascara running and a smile on my face".
She says she’s willing to do whatever he needs her to do to help.
She says, "I'm there. I can't wait. I feel like all of us, we're ready to do whatever we have to do. Whatever they want - if they need me to volunteer, they need me to sing, I'm there, and I'm ready."

Um, isn’t that something that you need to be invited to do? Stop trying to weasel your way into everything Bey.

Obama Documentary picked up by HBO for the spring…
HBO purchased the rights to the documentary about the president elect from Edward Norton’s production company for at least $1 million.
Obama was approached by Amy Rice before he decided to run and she was given access to him and his family as they filmed over 2 ½ years of his life. He’s still being followed and the film will cover his entire campaign up until his inauguration. Source
I’ll be watching! How about you?
