Siriano to Design for the Emmys

Project Runway winner, Christian Siriano is creating a gown for the Emmys. He’s been selected to design a dress for one of the women that will be acting as a trophy girl and handing over the Emmy statues to winners.
"It has been so inspiring watching the Emmys every year to see who is going to be the most fabulous diva at the show. ... It will be such an experience seeing my own creation on stage," he said in a statement.
The 60th Primetime Emmy Awards are set to air Sept. 21 on ABC. Source
How humble of him…with all the work he’s been doing lately I’d expect one of his designs to be on a presenter or nominee, no?

Christian Siriano Designs for the Big Screen

Christian Siriano (Snaps in Z formation), Project Runway winner will be designing a couture collection that will be featured in the last scene of the film Eloise in Paris. The movie is starring Uma Thurman and Jordana Beatty is set to start filming this September and have a release sometime in ’09. Source

Uh, I loves the bitch that is Christian Siriano but do we really need to expose the children to his Feriosh-ness? We all remember how he dealt with the teenage terror in the Prom Dress Competition. I fear the orange carpet will be spattered with the blood and tears of bratty tween stars who’ve had the misfortune of getting in Christian’s way.
