Update 58:

According to Look Magazine, Chris Brown is considering going on Oprah, and Rihanna wants him to apologize to her in front of millions of viewers while he’s there.

Sources say “Rihanna has been talking to Oprah Winfrey on a regular basis since late February when Oprah begged her not to take Chris back. She’s been having second thoughts about them being back together.”

"Agreeing to go on Oprah’s show and tell the world how sorry he is will help make up her mind,” the insider went on to say. Source

He can apologize in front of the nation…he can do it in private…all that matters is that he’s truly sorry. Cus words don’t mean a damn thing.

Sole Says She and Ginuwine are Fine

Sole is speaking out against rumors that she left husband Ginuwine after hearing he was cheating with LisaRaye. She told Sister 2 Sister’s Jamie Foster Brown, "I was like, that's funny. First of all, I'm not packing up no four kids and disrupting their lives in the middle of the school year, I don't care what he did. That's just foolish. But they were reporting this like they had seen me out here packing up my bags."

A friend of the family told her about the rumors of the affair. "I believed it wasn't true from the beginning," Sole said. "My being upset about it was just the fact that it caught me so off guard." Source

No More Karate Kid...Sorta

Because of the potential backlash surrounding remaking the classic film The Karate Kid, Columbia Pictures is changing the title of the movie to The Kung Fu Kid.

“They don’t want to call it Karate Kid any more. They want to call it The Kung Fu Kid,” said Jackie Chan, who’ll be playing Mr. Miyagi.

The film won’t be a strict remake, but instead will “borrow elements” from the original. Source

Selma Hayek is in the works of developing her own anti-aging cosmetics line.

Selma was inspired to do so because people kept asking her how she still looks so young and hot at 42.

“She’s been really hands-on in creating the line. She is using her grandma’s recipes with secret ingredients you can only find in Latin America.” Sources

Selma is definitely firm and fine. I’d use her products, hell I’d bathe in em if they’d help me look as good as her.

Ashanti and Nelly to Wed After 4 Years Together

After dating for over 4 years, word is that Ashanti and Nelly will marry in ’09.

When asked if she was getting married she told Us Weekly, "Absolutely. It's in the cards for me. I believe that I have a couple more things I need to do before that happens."

She adds, "I should have had six or seven kids, been married three times and secretly engaged now. But none of it's true." Source

Uncle Wacko is looking to have UK star Leona Lewis join him for a duet during his upcoming tour. .
A source told The Sun, “Michael has a list of singers he feels could do Janet justice - and Leona is top.
“He hasn’t approached her yet but he’s a big fan of everything she has achieved. She’s massive all around the world and he feels this duet would give both their careers an even bigger boost.” Source

I don’t know how she’ll do in front of such a big audience due to the shyness factor. But there’s no doubt the girl can sang.

Kim Addresses Wedding Dress Rumors

Kim Kardashian is addressing rumors that she’s getting married after being spotted having dinner with wedding dress designer Vera Wang.

Kim revealed, "I was spotted with Vera Wang, we had dinner a few nights... a couple times and she's an amazing women and amazing designer."
"I would be honored if she would design my gown, but we have not talked about that," Kim told Hollyscoop exclusively at Queen Latifah's birthday bash in Los Angeles.

Mimi and Nick are fighting back at bloggers after a bunch of rumors have surfaced.

In a video posted on YouTube.com he says, "I take respect real seriously and when you cross what I feel like you're offending my personal space, I wanna (sic) give you the full opportunity to say whatever you need to say to my face directly.
"So wherever you at, I'ma (sic) let you know when I'm in that area so you can come and tell me... Anybody else who got some reckless s**t to say on the Internet, I will give you my phone number. We can exchange. If you really feel that bad about it, if you really have those harsh personal feelings against me, lets deal with it." Source

Treach Responds to Abuse Accusations

Rapper Treach is finally speaking out about the alleged abuse that occurred in his relationship with Pepa. He admitted there was both physical and emotional abuse, but that it was on both sides. He says that he never grabbed her by the hair and threw her into a table like she alleges in her book. He also accuses her of using their children to “get even with him.” Source

You know how some people just have that look in their eyes like they’ll beat a chick ten ways to Sunday for not putting enough Lawry’s on the chicken. Yea, he’s got it. She shoulda smelled the blood on his knuckles from miles away.

No New Music From JT

Regardless of rumors of a new album, JT is not working on any music. He’s producing MTV’s show “the Phone” and has only been hitting the studio to work on the projects of others.

"Right now, I like the idea that things can just kind of pop up and if they feel right I can do them," says Timberlake. "Committing to my own sort of project, that’s like, 'Okay, let me block out two years of my life and do it.' I was heavily fulfilled with the last one and I always have this thing with myself that if I can’t sleep because I need to do it, then I’m gonna do it. But if I’m not losing sleep over it then…" Source

I’m not mad at him for pursuing other things. But I would have liked to see some new stuff from him.

New York is Back with a New Show

Tiffany “New York” Pollard is getting yet another show on VH1. She had two seasons of “I Love New York,” where she was looking for love, a season of “New York Goes to Hollywood,” where she tried to get into acting, and now she’ll be starring in “New York Goes to Work,” where she’ll try to make it in the corporate world.

In the new show America will get to choose from a list of three possible jobs they’d like to see NY try each week.

The job with the highest votes will be the one she tries. IF she impresses her bosses she’ll get a $5,000 bonus at the end of the week. But if she quits, fails, or gets fired she gets zip.

The show premieres May 4^th. Source

Jada: I'm Not Gay!

Jada Pinkett Smith is sick and tired of the rumors that her marriage to Will Smith is a ruse to cover up their homosexuality. She said in an interview with NPR, “I don’t have an open marriage and no, we’re not gay - and you don’t trust that? Well then there’s nothing that I really have to say to anybody about anything, because at the end of the day, I’m living my life, and I’m happy.” Source

ShamWow Guy in the Schlammer

Vince Shlomi, the ShamWow guy, has been arrested in connection with assaulting a prostitute.

He paid a hooker $1,000 for some nook-nook, and once in the hotel room she bit down on his tong during a kiss. He then punched her until she let go.

The hooker, Sasha Harris, refused to cooperate with officers. . “Both parties had a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from their persons,” police reported.

She is, however, considering a lawsuit against ShamWow guy. The Smoking Gun

And from the commercials he look so fun loving…go figure. Although, I guess I’d punch a heifer if she refused to free my appendages from the clutches of her chompers.

Obamapolooza!!!!

President Obama talks about how special his daughter Sasha is to him. Sasha was hospitalized at 3 months with a deadly meningitis scare.
"Very dangerous," the President said, responding to a health-policy question from a nurse in the audience. "The doctors did a terrific job, but frankly it was the nurses that were there with us when she had to get a spinal tap, and all sorts of things that were just bringing me to tears."

Sasha, whom he refered to as “our prescious little pea” is now 7 years ol dnad got better due to the nurses.

"I'm biased toward nurses," he said. "I just like nurses." Source\

According to the NY Post, Rihanna was flirtin’ it up with Brody Jenner recently. She’s also been linked to Shia LaBeouf and Wilder Valderama as of late. She’s also been jet setting and partying it up. Source

Madge is Adopting Another Little African

Madonna is officially adopting another baby from Malawi.

“The adoption is going ahead,” Malawi’s Director of Child Welfare Services, Penstone Kilembe, tells Usmagazine.com. “It has been at an advanced stage for some time.”

Supposedly Mercy “has no father and mother, they both died…We finished the assessment yesterday in readiness for the courts next week,” said Kilembe.

Madonna has expressed interest in wanting to adopt another child.” Many people say that David, Madge’s other Malawian child, should have a Malawian brother or sister,” she recently told Malawi’s The Nation newspaper. “It’s something I have been considering but would only do if I had the support of the Malawian people and the government.” Source

Maybe she should work on getting her own life straight before trying to fix someone else.

Amy wants kids but wants to release an album before that happens. She says, “I’ll always have music in my life, but I don’t always have to sell it to people. But if she gave up music she’s like to do hair.

“I’d love to have a beauty salon. My nan, God rest her sole, pretty much trained up me and my brother Alex to be her beauty therapists when we were young - it was pretty clever of her, actually.

“I must have only been about four years old and my brother was about eight. He’d give her a full pedicure and then I’d have to paint her nails and do her hair.” Source
