Storch and Kim Patch Things Up

Lil’ Kim and ex, producer Scott Storch are cool again. He gave her a car that was repossessed recently. Apparently he wasn’t paying the lease on the card and they searched for it for seven months before finding it at Kim’s house.

Kim was naturally angry about the situation but now that Scott’s out of rehab he’s trying to repair wounded relationships. The two were seen having a bite to eat recently.

A source says, "Scott just wants to get his life together and rebuild friendships." Source

Lil' Kim the Songstress?

Above is a video of Cyndi Lauper and Lil’ Kim singing (yes they’re BOTH singing) “Time After Time” at an AIDS benefit, or something like that. UMMMMM! Why is this happening. Like Cyndi gets a pass for being querky and not really sounding that great. But who’s idea was it to not only allow, but encourage, Kim to sing? Hmm? I want their names and employee numbers so I can fire them and stamp “No Rehire” on their file.

Faith and Kim Almost Scrap

Faith and Lil’ Kim had a run in at Sean “Beady Eyes and Unfortunate Teeth” Comb’s All White party and damn near started fighting.
Kim took issue with how she was represented in the movie ‘Notorious’ and a fight almost ensued when she came face to face with Faith who was associated with the film.
“It was really heated,” one source said. “It was about to pop off…there was crazy screaming.” According to sources, Faith was saying, “I love you” to Lil Kim and Kim responded with “God bless you.” However, later at the event, Kim asked Faith, “How would you say you love me when you trashed me in your book?” Source
Lol…sounds like some ish I would say. Keep it peaceful and go with God. Be blessed (Lo mumbles ‘bitch’ under her breath).

Marc Jacobs Wrote Kim in Jail?

Fashion designer Marc Jacobs, wrote to rapper Lil’ Kim, every week while she was in jail. Kim says that it was Marc’s letters that helped her make it through the ten months she spent inside.

She says, "He's one of my best friends and was actually a huge supporter when I was in prison. He wrote me every week! I decided to buy a coloring book - I'm a huge Bratz (dolls) fan - and I painted the Bratz and made them all wear Marc Jacobs, and sent it to him.
"He blew it up and framed it, and now it's hanging in his house. So Marc Jacobs is the best." Source

No Political Future for Lil' Kim

Lil Kim is no longer running to become Mayor of Hoboken, NJ. She says that the whole thing was just an April Fool’s Day prank gone wrong.

She says, "It's not true. I'm not politically experienced at all." But she does want fans' votes on DWTS. Source

As if Hoboken wasn’t greasy enough, can you imagine Kim in charge of the place. Ugh, no thanks.

Lil' Kim Operates on CP Time

Producers of “Dancing With the Stars” are getting fed up with Kim’s tardiness. According to the NY Daily News:

The rapper-turned-”Dancing With the Stars”-hoofer is “late to everything,” says a show insider. “If she has a call time of 7, she doesn’t show until 10.” But producers are having the last laugh on Kim (below). Says the insider: “They’ve started telling her to show up two hours earlier than they need her - just to make sure she’s on time!” Source

This is the most play she’s gotten in years. She bet not mess it up!

Kim Got Cut B4 DWTS

Word is that Lil’ Kim had a visit to the plastic surgeon right before appearing on Dancing With the Stars. She was concerned about her appearance so she had her nose filled in and other previous surgery mistakes fixed. Source
I hope she learned her lesson and will back away from the knife because it has NOT been nice to her.

Kim Owes the Gubbment

Lil’ Kim should watch her back because the IRS is onto her. She reportedly owes, NJ, NY, CA and the federal gov’t $979,090 in unpaid taxes. Her rep says, “Lil’ Kim is paying her tax debt and will continue to do so.” Source
Paying it back is she? She must have some bangin residuals cus that’s a lot of money to pay off for someone who hasn’t had a hit record at least 5 years…probably longer.

Lil' Kim Talks About New Album

Speaking of Lil’ Kim, she talked to MTV.com to talk bout her new album. She says it’ll be a totally new style that we’ve never heard from her before.
“And I don’t care what nobody says, I’m not gonna let anyone pigeonhole me. This is what it is. I’m coming with it,” Lil’ Kim explains further. “I got to hang in there with the fellas. The only way to hang in there with the fellas is to be able to do what the fellas do. And with Lil’ Wayne singing and rapping, T-Pain singing and rapping, and everybody singing and rapping, somebody got to represent for my laaaaaaadies.”
When asked whether she will be usint auto-tune she says:
“Maybe, maybe not.” She then adds, “I’m gonna be singing, I’m gonna be flowing. Whatever I feel. It’s not gonna be so strategic or placed. It’s gonna be whatever I feel. I’m gonna have fun on my next album. It’s coming soon. Really soon.” Source
I haven’t been too keen on Kim lately. I miss the old Kim circa “Crush on You” days. Let’s reminisce, shall we?

On any drunken night I can be caught reciting the second verse verbatim, hood inflection included…I don’t know why. I think it’s some type of chemical imbalance.

Charli Baltimore's Got Something to Say

One of Biggie’s ex-mistresses, rapper Charli Baltimore, has something to say about Lil Kim and her statements about being Biggie’s girl. "The problem that comes is that Lil Kim made it seem like she had a relationship with B.I.G., that they really didn't have," she said. "I don't aggressively go at it and try to dispute it, like if you want to make people think that y'all had a relationship that was outside of sex, then that's fine. That's your business. People believe that. So it's always like well, where did Charli fit in? ...Me and BIG were in a relationship!"Faith, Biggie’s widow, admitted that Big and Charli were together. "I had discussed this with Faith. Me and Faith had words and we definitely had our little moments, but we never had any physical altercations," Charli explained. "It wasn't anything totally disrespectful. When B.I.G. passed, I called Faith and gave my condolences to her children because I thought that was the right thing to do. She knew about me and I knew that B.I.G. still had feelings for her. They were going through a separation, a divorce."
But Charli insists that Kim and Biggie never had a relationship.
"Kim goes out of her way to say she was B.I.G.'s girl. No, Kim wasn't his girl! Straight up, she wasn't," she said. "She benefited from the situation because she became Lil Kim. She has a career and she's grateful to a n**** for helping her in that aspect, but she was never his girl. ... If you're running around constantly saying it, you would think a person with half a brain would say... that don't sound right! That's like Faith constantly walking around saying 'Oh! Naturi Talks about Lil' Kim

Since Lil’ Kim has spoken out against her portrayal in the film Notorious, Biggies wife and Mother have responded to her. Now Naturi Naughton, who plays Kim in the film has something to say as well.
“I had the guys from Junior Mafia [Biggie’s entourage and labelmates on Bad Boy records] help me out a lot.
“I really just researched on my own. I studied videos and spent time in Brooklyn to get an idea of the mentality.”When asked about whether Kim wanted to be involved, Naughton answered, “I don’t know. I tried to reach out to her. I think there was some conflict. I’m not sure.” Source
The only way Kim would be happy would be if she portrayed herself and if she was showed as Biggie’s main squeeze. THIS IS NOT YOUR MOVIE KIM!

Lil' Kim Getting Sued Again

Brookland Media has filed a $2.5 million lawsuit against rapper Lil Kim because they claim they contracted Kim and spent hundreds of thousands of dollars on recordings, equipment and advance payments, but she has yet to produce any work.
Kim tried to change the agreed upon contract and refused to record unless Brookland agreed to her terms. Brookland hopes to have the court enforce their original contract and bar Kim from recording with another label. Source
First she gets sued by the book company for not producing a book, now by the record label for not producing any music. Some Negroes just don’t wanna work.
