T.I. Called Needs some Pokin' While in the Pokey

T.I. has missed his baby momma (possibly wife) so much that he’s asked that she be allowed to see him while in prison.
“He doesn’t want anyone to see him in prison. I thought about it, I was definitely going to come by a lot. But he doesn’t even want his kids to see him there. He doesn’t want that image implanted in their heads, of him being in jail. I can kind of understand that,” a friend said.
However, he couldn’t bare being without Tiny for one more day. so she flew to Arkansas to see him.
At one point it was rumored that Rihanna had been sending Tip nasty texts but Tiny cleared the rumors up saying, “Rihanna has never disrespected me or Tip, I have nothing but love for her, she is a friends and all that talk about texting is untrue. She also told me about how she was just getting off the plane, after seeing Tip. She also told me that ”Tip he is doing good, he is reading a lot, and writing“. Source and Source
Well that’s good to know. I can understand him not wanting his kids to see him like that. But everyone needs a little lovin.

The Tiny and Toya Show?

T.I.’s wife Tiny and Lil’ Wayne’s ex Toya, will have their own show on BET. The show will chronicle their lives as they try to navigate the industry and raise their families.

The half hour show is set in Atlanta where the two friends live. It premieres on Tuesday June 30^th at 10pm. Source

Congrats to them for getting’ their own grind on. I can’t say I’ll watch. I’m still ashamed of breaking my 6 year ban on BET to watch College Hill: South Beach.

T.I. Tells JD and Janet's Secret

During the last episode of T.I.’s “Road to Redemption,” Tip may have let the cat out of the bag on Janet and JD’s marital status.

While talking to a class of elementary students one of the children asked, “If you had a choice between Mary J. Blige or Janet Jackson, who would you marry?” T.I. responded, “Well they’re both married, so I wouldn’t marry a married woman.”Source

Tiny's Nail Shop Open for Business

T.I.’s baby mama/fiancée Tameka “Tiny” Cottle, has opened up a new nail salon in Stockbridge. Tiny’s Nail Bar features manicures, pedicures, massages, body wraps and spray tanning, as well as complimentary health drinks and juices.
“I’m very picky about my nails and hair, so I’m going to make sure that I do my best to deliver top-notch customer service,” Tiny tells Essence.

Updates 9-17: Chris Brown Arrested

Update 9: Rapper T.I. spoke out about the Chrihanna situation. He said that he had a convo with Chris on Monday.
“Yeah, I spoke to him today," said the rapper. "He cool, you know. I guess he a little concerned about the situation, but he’s still the same Chris.”
Tip even offered him some advice. “I told him this too shall pass."
He also doesn’t want people to judge CB. He said, “Hey man, you people gotta remember, we celebrities and we entertainers but we still human. All of us. Don’t expect us not to make mistakes ‘cause we will.”Source
‘Mistake’ is an interesting word to use to describe this.

Update 10: Photos (Chris): INF DAILY
I saw these photos over at Sandra Rose. They’re pictures of Chris Brown in the SUV that took himi to the police station to turn himself in. The blown up picture of his hand shows what appears to be marks on his knuckles. Molly Wop anyone lately Chris…

Update 11: Earlier that night at Clive Davis’s pre-Grammy party
The couple was supposedly fighting all weekend. A source reveals, “I saw Chris Brown and Rihanna fighting at the Verizon party at Boulevard 3 Nightclub. They were in this room and they were just screaming at each other, totally cussing each other out. They were screaming ‘F**k you!’ ‘No, f**k you!’ at each other, back and forth. They were right in each others face. It was scary”.
Another source talks about fighting at Clive Davis’ party the next night.
“Inside the party they were very lovey-dovey, but later on they were arguing.” Rihanna is now doing a lot of soul searching over whether their relationship can last. Only time will tell”.

Update 12: The ‘Got Milk’ folks are pissed. Chris recently did an ad for them and they’re pulling them. The Milk Processor Education Program are “taking the allegations against Chris Brown very seriously”.

Update 13:
Everyone is wondering what sparked the fight between the two and one of the latest rumors is that Chris got a text from another woman seding Rihanna into a rage.
A source told the NY Daily News, "He got a booty call. He got a text. Rihanna saw it and she got upset. They started to argue. She got out of the car. He wanted her to get back in, so he grabbed her. "She pulled away. That's when she told people he hit her." SourceUpdate 14:
Chris’s ex stepdad, Donelle Hawkins, denies Chris’ allegations that he abused his mother.
When asked what he thought about reports his former stepson had attacked his girlfriend, Hawkins tells Usmagazine.com, “I wouldn’t be surprised,” adding, “He has to take responsibility for his own actions.”
He adds, “There was a lot of arguing between his mom and I (but) I never raised a hand at his mom. I spanked Chris one time. I became the bad guy. Chris was really mad at his mom for leaving his dad, so I became the scapegoat. No matter how much I tried to be a father figure, nothing worked.”

Update 15:
Jay-Z, who has been Rihanna’s mentor since discovering her a few years ago is supposedly livid over this whole situation.
A source tells Us Weekly magazine, “He hit the roof. Chris is a walking dead man. He messed with the wrong crew.” Source

Update 16:
The LADA’s office want police to do more investigating before they file domestic violence charges against CB
Detective Deshon Andrews said that to keep photos and documents from leaking to the media, he has kept the case file closely guarded and allowed no copies of the material to be made. Police have refused media requests to hear the 911 call that led to their investigation early Sunday, but Andrews said it mostly recorded the sound of "a screaming woman." Source

Update 17: Folks think that the ‘other woman’ could be Leona Lewis.
Apparently Chris was peeped flirting with her and this pissed Rih-Rih off.“At one point, Rihanna caught Chris flirting with Leona,” says a source. “They were carrying on and laughing, and Rihanna saw Chris with his hand on the small of Leona’s back. It may have been innocent, but that set Rihanna off.” Source
That sounds ridiculous…actually this whole situation is crazy. I still don’t know who or what to believe.

New Reality Show for T.I.

T.I. has signed on to do a reality show following his final days of freedom. T.I’s Road to Redemption: 45 days to Go, will be shot until March. He enters jail on gun charges on March 27. The first episode will premiere on MTV on February 10th.Source
Good to know he’s made peace with his punishment and is sharing his last days with the world. I’d be more inclined to watch this than the Lil’ Kim reality show that went down a while ago.

Luda and T.I. Squash Their Beef

Ludacris and T.I. have reportedly worked out their beef so they can work together:

“There’s a time and place for everything, and now is the time. This [upcoming] album, Theater of the Mind, is an event, and all the songs on it are events,” Luda said. “I felt like there was no bigger event in hip-hop at this moment than me and T.I. working together.”
“Me and dude never had no problems,” T.I. elaborated a few days ago while calling in to DJ Self’s Sirius Satellite Radio show. “It was always turmoil between our camp and his camp. Us as the bosses of our companies, everyone is gonna follow our lead. We’d figure if it ain’t no problem and we don’t have no issues, no beef, then there’s no reason we shouldn’t be able to get together and make music. That was an executive decision that was made on both our behalves.”
“It’s showing that once great minds set their differences aside, they can make something happen,” Alfamega, who’s signed to T.I.’s Grand Hustle Records, said at the Ozone Awards red carpet. “That’s two grown men — not two grown males, grown men!” Source

Yea, I really don’t understand ‘beef’ at all. I mean, we’re all grown right? The only beef I want is top sirloin best served medium on a big ass plate in front of me. And throw some taters on that!

Baby Post

Rapper T.I. and his baby mama Tameka "Tiny" Cottle welcomed a son on Friday weighing in at 7lbs 4oz. They’ve named him Major. Source
He is T.I’s fifth child and Tiny’s third. I think…I can’t keep up. Damon Dash and wife Rachel Roy welcomed their second daughter Tallulah Ruth, last Tuesday weighing in at 8 lbs. Dame also has a teenage son Damon Jr. Source
I wonder if a new baby will be enough motivation to keep him home. Lord knows he’s had trouble with that in the past. In any event, children are a blessing. Congrats to the parents.

Clifford Pleads Guilty

Rapper T.I. (Ne Clifford Harris) plead guilty to federal weapons charges as part of a deal that could include not only jail time but also various fines. Cliff will be sentenced a year form now and could face as much as 12 months in the clink. In addition he could be ordered to perform 1,500 hours of community service, have to pay a $100,000 fine, and serve a sentence of three years of supervised release which would include a year of home detention. I say they give him the max. He’s got all them chilluns and is hell bent on having all them damn guns around. Just shameful.
