Lohan Blasts JT's Clothing Line

Lindsay Lohan took it upon herself to blast Justin Timberlake’s Willian Rast clothing line.
She tweeted:
“i can’t believe you are lowering yourselves to a MACY’S brand- i am speechless. Paris is chic not mid America. Gross.”
“i am sorry for the unnecessary comment-wasn’t meant to be a jab”
“i have some William Rast & it’s great-was a friends words. and my 6126 leggings are in Macy’s West and they’ve been great to work with.” Source

Prince sold out his two upcoming concerts in less than 8 minutes. Fans bought over 7,000 tickets for his gigs at the Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland in record time. He’s going to close the festival with two shows on July 18th. Source
Even though I’m a die hard VINTAGE Prince fan I do like some of the stuff from his latest album. I can see why tickets sold out so fast.

Jessica Biel is Controlling

Rumors that Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake are on the rocks have surfaced again. Supposedly it’s due to Jessica’s controlling ways.
“Justin had to leave dinner once because Jessica was calling him incessantly,” added the pal. “They got into a huge screaming match over the phone about how she’s always ‘checking up’ on him. She’s extremely needy and is always keeping tabs on him.
“All his friends think she’s really annoying. She’s always trying to be one of the guys. She and Justin have no chemistry.
“Justin is partying in London right now. Jessica wanted to go with him, but he wasn’t having it. He just wanted to get away with the guys. He needed his space from her.” Source
Well that’s definitely no way to keep a man. Pump your breaks honey.

Kenna Raises Awareness with Lupe and JT

Singer Kenna has enlisted fellow artists Justin Timberlake and Lupe Fiasco to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro with him this fall to raise money for charity. They’ll be raising awareness for the water crisis. Kenna almost lost his father to the shortage of water in Ethiopia.

He tells Elle magazine, "My dad almost died as a child from waterborne diseases in Ethiopia, and he had talked to me about digging a well there, and I thought, 'I have too many friends who would be concerned with the subject of clean water. Maybe I can help out.'"

Lupe Fiasco insists he's ready for the challenge, "I'm an adventure junkie. Part of the motivation is beating Kenna to the top. Sabotaging his tent, taking the lining out of his coat, lacing it with ants or something like that." Source

Yet another cause that I’m sure most of us rarely think about.

Nothing Going On Between Cici and JT?

Apparently Jessica Biel needed convincing that nothin went on between her man and Ciara behind the scenes of their video “Love Sex Magic.”
Ciara says, “Kissing him wasn’t bad at all…. …Justin’s a sweetheart, and the whole shoot felt very organic. It all flowed so well.”
She insists there is no need for Biel to feel jealous. “I met her, and she’s very nice. I think she was cool (that I kissed her man). She seems like a confident girl, so there’s nothing for her to worry about.” Source
Uh huh…I know Jessica was looking at her with the side eye cus after watching this I believe in Love Sex Magic. Peep the vid below:

No New Music From JT

Regardless of rumors of a new album, JT is not working on any music. He’s producing MTV’s show “the Phone” and has only been hitting the studio to work on the projects of others.

"Right now, I like the idea that things can just kind of pop up and if they feel right I can do them," says Timberlake. "Committing to my own sort of project, that’s like, 'Okay, let me block out two years of my life and do it.' I was heavily fulfilled with the last one and I always have this thing with myself that if I can’t sleep because I need to do it, then I’m gonna do it. But if I’m not losing sleep over it then…" Source

I’m not mad at him for pursuing other things. But I would have liked to see some new stuff from him.

Listening to Bey Makes You Dumb

Virgil Griffiths, a PhD student, compared students scores in SAT exams with their favorite musical acts and genres to see if one’s musical tastes reflects intelligence. At the top of the scale were people who listen to Beethoven, Indie music, Radiohead, U2 and Bob Dylan. On the low end of the scale were listeners of Lil’ Wayne, Justin Timberlake, Jay-Z and his wife, Beyonce.Griffiths introduces the test on his site Music That Makes You Dumbby saying: "I've listened to artists who after listening to I thought to myself 'Wow... loving this rubbish says a lot about someone and how much they got going on in their head'. Source
I checked out the site and Virgil’s findings…they’re interesting to say the least. What do you guys think about his results? Make you want to go pic up a Beethovan for Dummies book.

JT and Jess Get an NYC APT

According to JT’s mom, he and girlfriend Jessica Biel are moving in together. The two are purchasing an apartment in NYC. They were shopping back in September and were smitten with a $2.9 million duplex in Chelsea.
"The apartment is great. He's loving it!" his mom, Lynn Harless, told Us Weekly. Source
I was just saying the other day that I haven’t heard to much about either of them. Looks like things are progressing nicely. Congrats on the new place!

JT Drops Trou to Make Bey Comfortable

JT says that Beyonce was nervous for the skit they did together on SNL last year. So to break the ice he walked into her dressing room with a robe over his leotard and dropped it.
When asked what her response was, he replied: "I can't look anywhere but your face right now."
Last year, Beyoncé discussed the singer with Ellen DeGeneres, saying: "I just can't believe how hilarious he is.
"He showed up. He had his leotard and his pumps and his robe, and he opened it up... just letting it all hang out. I'm like, 'OK, Justin ...' Why are his legs more beautiful than any woman's?" Source
That story would have been way more interesting if he was actually naked under the robe…or wearing a pair of her panties or something.

Justin Timberlake and Leona Lewis to Record Classic

JT and Leona Lewis are teaming up to record their own version of “I will Always Love You”.
A source tells The Sun, "They will record the track in the next few months and are just waiting for a period when they're both free to go into the studio. Leona and Justin are huge fans of each other's music and are raring to go." Source
Ehhhh, not to say that either of them can’t sing. I mean Leona can blow. But some classics need to be left alone. Only time will tell I guess.

Justin Timberlake has been working on an album with newbie Esmee Denters and he debuted a new single collabo with her on his Myspace page. Follow My Lead is available on iTunes and all proceeds from the $.99 download sales of the single will aid the Shriners Hospitals for Children. Source

Bey Sings the Praises of her Fellow Artists

Beyonce is raving over Justin Timberlake’s recent performance in a skit/spoof of her Single Ladies video that was on last Saturday’s SNL.
She says, “I still can’t believe he did that. He was incredible. We rehearsed it two times. He picked up the choreography. He has this photographic memory. He could probably kill it if he wanted to.”
She also recently hand nothing but good things to say about Kanye and Rihanna.
“I love Kanye,” she told radio DJs Ed Lover and Free on Power 105.1 FM. “It’s all from a good place.”
Sasha Fierce goes on to confess, “I love Rihanna, I think she’s fantastic and she’s done an incredible job. I love all her records.” Source
Um hmm, she may love her records but she probably wants to molly wop her one good time and be rid of her for fear Jay will be creepin’ under her umbrella-ella-ella-eh-eh-eh.

Beyonce was the musical guest on SNL last weekend and there was a Single Ladies skit complet with male background dancers, one of which was Justin Timberlake. Alls I got to say is ‘DANCE BISCUITS!’

Justin Timberlake is Getting Sued

JT’s new BBQ restaurant in NYC is facing legal action after a former employee contends that he was shortchanged tips. Felipe Rames says the he along with other co-workers were not given their rightful tips and also claims he didn’t receive overtime.
The manager, Chris Russell, denies the claims. Source
I’ve learned (having several friends who work in the food industry) that the last person you want to make angry is the wait staff. They have very vicious ways of retaliation. They need to give Felipe whatever he wants and walk away.

Madge Reuniting JT and Brit?

Tonight (Thursday, November 6, 2008) Madonna will be reuniting Justin Timberlake and Britney Spears on her “Sticky & Sweet” tour stop in LA. Ryan Seacrest broke the news when he called into KIIS-FM. No word (yet) as to exactly what type of performance this will be but I can’t wait until the YouTube videos are out. Source

JT Buys Jess a Ring

JT and his boo Jessica Beil have been in Rome for Beverly Mitchell, Jessica’s 7th Heaven costar’s, wedding. While there the National Enquirer claims that Justin bought Jess a vintage “multicarat diamond ring,”
“Justin is ready to take the plunge,” a friend told The Enquirer.
“Jess finished moving all of her stuff into Justin’s Hollywood Hills home in early September, and now they’re planning the future - married life and kids.”
And the first call Justin made after the big buy was to his super-protective mom Lynn…
“Justin got Lynn to come around… she’s thrilled for him.” Source

Ellen Turns Down Big Names to Sing at Her Wedding

Ellen and Portia reportedly turned down both George Michael and Justin Timberlake as performers at their wedding. The lovely lezzies originally planned a big wedding but at the last minute opted for an intimate ceremony with just their immediate family in attendance.
“We called and disinvited everyone. They totally understood.”
Ellen and Portia decided to have Joshua Radin perform at the wedding. Ellen said:
“He was fantastic and was so thrilled and honored.” Source
They’re so unpretentious. Love you guys!

JT's Bodyguard Goes Ape$hit!

According to Brit mag The Mirror, Justin Timberlake’s entourage broke out in a fight and fellow singers Solange, Beyonce, Mariah Carey, Rihanna, and Chris Brown had to scatter to avoid beng hit by flying glass.
The group was attending a Fashion Rocks after party at the Rainbow Bar in NYC when a female fan entered VIP and tried to snap a pic of JT with her phone. His bodyguard dove at her to grab her and that’s when all hell broke loose.
"It was mayhem,” a witness said. “Justin narrowly missed being punched in the face when a fan tried to take a photo of him on her camera, and his minder kicked off, screaming at the girl and snatching the camera off her to delete the pic. A huge commotion broke out with the fan's male pals who tried to protect her. Fists were flying and JT was desperately trying to get out of the way." Source

Why is this funny to me? Maybe because I’m picturing a scene something like this.

Biel/Timberlake Post

TMZ has video of Jessica Biel walking across a parking lot looking kinda preggers but it could also be the wind blowing her dress up. In any event we love to speculate about possible weddings and chilluns.
If Jess and JT’s mom are still fighting a new baby might be just the trick to bring them together. Ah, only time will tell.

In Other JT News…
Justin has been shooting short films to promote his clothing line William Rast. In the vids JT plays a character William Rast who’s an outlaw hiding in the woods with his girlfriend. The two tape each other talking about love, their situation, and drop the name William Rast a few times.
Check out the vid below….I’ll give it interesting. We’ll see where it goes.

JT's Mom No Likie Jessica

The National Enquirer is reporting that Justin Timberlake’s mother is standing between Jessica Biel and an engagement ring. Supposedly Jessica and JT’s mom (and manager) don’t get along and it has a lot to do with the fact that mom dukes is always around. When Jessica let it be known that mommy needs to back off it didn’t sit too well with her.
JT’s been shopping for rings, “But Lynn thinks her son is too young to marry,” his pal said. “Lynn is often at Justin’s home, where she insists on doing his laundry and overseeing what Jessica is cooking. She even made an appearance at Pace restaurant on June 10 while Justin and Jessica were having a romantic dinner. “It’s created a huge dilemma for Justin. He is completely in love with Jessica and has every intention of marrying her, but he also adores his mom and doesn’t want to cause any waves with her.” Source
Once you piss off the mother it's a WRAP. I wish I had some advice for Jess but thankfully, due to my electric personality and keen sense of humor, I’ve never had to deal with something like this.

JT to Get Married?

The rumor mill is churning and word is that JT will be proposing to boo Jessica “booty like a black girl” Biel soon.
One source said Jessica has not been drinking recently, sparking pregnancy rumors. They added: “Justin is 27 and thinking about marriage and kids. “For the first time in his life he is feeling settled and has definitely decided to pop the question to Jessica.
His friend added: “Although Justin has lived his whole life in the public eye, he feels his wedding is the one day that should remain private. To get all his close friends and family to Mustique (a privately owned island) will cost a fortune. But he can’t put a price on how he feels about Jessica. Source
I’m sorry but I really don’t get why people feel the need to get married after someone gets knocked up. I mean, they’ve been living in sin this long…getting married doesn’t change that. Aye aye aye. Children are a blessing. Congrats or whatever.
