Juvenile Skips Daughter's Funeral

Juvenile’s 4 year old daughter, Jelani, was murdered by her teen brother a few weeks ago. Juve said publicly that he was “shocked and devastated but proved to be a no-show at her funeral this past weekend. A rep for Juve told the site that he made the decision not to attend because "he didn't want to divert attention away from the ceremony with further media attention." Source
I’ve seen this story on a bunch of blogs and news outlets and it seems like folks are kinda crucifying Juvenile for not showing up. Let’s remember that everyone grieves in their own way. Had something that horrific happened to someone in my fam I don’t know HOW I’d react. Let’s try and give him a bye on this one.

Daughter of Juvenile Killed by Her Brother

This past Friday a 17-year-old boy, Tyrone Terrell Jr., was arrested for the murder of his mother, Joy Deleston, and two sisters, Micaiah and Jelani (ages 11 and 4). The 4 year old, Jelani, was the daughter of rapper Juvenile. The boy is being held without bail and has been charged with three counts of murder and aggravated assault. Junevile’s reaction to his daughter’s death:
“It really shocked him and devastated him to the point where I’ve never seen him before. Right now he is relaxing and trying to grasp everything of what has happened.”
Source So far there is no word on why Tyrone may have done this. This is absolutely horrific. Condolences go out to the families affected by this tragedy.
