Tiger on His Way to Being a Billionaire

Pro golfer, Tiger Woods, is apparently well on his way to becoming a billionaire.
According to Forbes he’ll pass $1 billion in career earnings by next year. That doesn’t mean he’s a billionaire. In order to do that he’d have to actually have a net worth of at least $1 billion.
"He built Nike Golf," Scott Sanford, a senior director at the marketing company Davie Brown Talent, told Forbes. "When you show the best golfer in the world using certain balls, irons, apparel -- viewers want to use the same equipment. No other athlete could have built up the brand at the rate he did." Source
I’m definitely not mad at that. He’ll be the first athlete to do that…ever.

Tiger Woods is Gonna Be a Daddy Again

Tiger Woods and his wife Elin are expecting their second child. He announced it on his website: "This has been a year of contrasts. I had a solid start to the season, won the US Open in an exciting playoff, and then unfortunately had to shut it down after successful knee surgery."
And now, I have some wonderful news to report.
Sam is going to be a big sister
Elin and I are proud to announce that we are expecting our second child in late-winter.

Get Yer Ropes Boys!

Golf Channel anchor Kelly Tilghman is back peddlin’ like a mofo after the comments she made last week during a telecast of the PGA Tour’s opening event at the Mercedes-Benz Championship. She said that young golfers should “lynch Tiger Woods in a back alley.” Apparently that’s the only way they’d be able to compete with him.
A spokesman for the channel said she immediately regretted the remark and apologized on the telecast Sunday. She also reached out to Woods’ people to express her regrets. (Source)
Tiger’s response? Outrage? Demands for an apology? Nope! He apparently doesn’t give two shits about what she said. His agent Mark Steinberg said,
"This story is a non-issue. Tiger and Kelly are friends and Tiger has a great deal of respect for Kelly. Regardless of the choice of words used we know unequivocally that there was no ill-intent in her comments. This story is a non-issue in our eyes. Case closed." Source
Eh, I’m not mad…irritated, but not mad. If you understand the context in which she made the statement you could see that she was offhandedly complementing Tiger for being one of the most dominating forces in the history of golf. But this dizzy broad slipped up and started talking bout lynchin' folks all willy nilly. She better be glad that Tiger didn’t get mad cus he may be her saving grace in keeping her job.
