Imus went back on the air yesterday but he’s not alone. He’s got two lil darkies beside him. Tony Powel and Karith Foster (comedians) will be on the show discussing race relations amongst other things. Imus also made a statement about the rant that got him kicked off the air in the first place:
“I will never say anything in my lifetime that will make any of these young women at Rutgers regret or feel foolish that they accepted my apology and forgave me. And no one else will say anything on my program that will make anyone think I did not deserve a second chance.”
Interesting…gotcha two blackles to help ya out, eh? Next thing we know he’ll be saying that Martin Luther King Jr. is his hero, he has lots of black friends, and he finds the latest Jay-Z album to be riveting, all while doing the tootsie roll. Sighs…
