Angela Basset Joining Cast of ER

Angela Basset will be a regular on ER next season. She’ll play a tough as nails attending who has a shady past. She’s come home to Chicago after a few years doing charity work in Indonesia. “Angela is a wonderfully talented actress whom I’ve long hoped to work with,” said “ER” executive producer John Wells. I hope she’ll spice things up for ER before it goes off the air next season. I quit that show after they killed off Dr. Greene with that damn brain cancer.
