Usher is Runnin' Back to Mama

Usher, who fired, er, I mean, retired his mother shortly before Mother's Day is thinking about rehiring her. Usher’s mother, Jonetta Patton has been had been his manager for 15 years when he severed their professional relationship. But the disappointing sales of his latest album have him thinking that Mama may have known what she was doing.
A source tells the New York Daily News, “Usher was livid (after his album didn’t sell up to his expectations). He threatened to fire everyone. People have been telling Usher to listen to his mother. Nobody knows how to sell him better than she does. Usher can be stubborn. But he may be ready (to re-hire his mother).”
In July, he told Vibe magazine, “(I paid my mother) the ultimate compliment - to retire her to be a full-time grandmother.”
Source Sounds more like the ultimate slap in the face. He better hope she’s still willing to deal with his trifflin’ ass.
