Joe Says R. Kelly Sabotaged Him

Singer Joe recently left Jive records after 11 years and six albums to go independent. Once he left he found out that his label mate, R. Kelly was putting pressure on Jive Execs and radio stations to not promote Joes albums when it seemed that he was getting too much attention. Joe says,
"R. Kelly was very instrumental in making a lot of decisions when it came to my records being played on the radio," Joe told EUR's Lee Bailey Tuesday. "He would make a call to the radio station or to the label and say, 'Hey, this Joe record is too hot right now. Yall need to pull that back.' And they would oblige." SOURCE
Damn that sucks. Normally I’d say that excuses are the tools of the week and incompetent. But and however, R. Kelly is known for trying to boot anyone getting more shine than him. We all know what happened with him and Neyo on tour. So I feel you Joe.
Let’s give it up for Joe. He really loves women…thinks they’re good enough to eat…will eat them with a spoon…all night long…and better than their man. So what he’s two feet tall! Vive le Joe!
