Political Poop '08

The two following clips are from “The View”. In the past two weeks alone there have been serious brawls between the panel of women over the upcoming presidential election. Check out the vids and tell me what you think.
PS-if this keeps up someone’s gonna end up with a black eye. I can just taste it.

Obamapolooza… Barack chose to address young black voters directly through the pages of Vibe magazine. He said,
“We are at a defining moment in our history. I am running for president to take this country in a new direction. But I can’t do it alone. I need you,” the letter reads. “Whether it’s the first time, or the first time in a long time, I need you to register and vote on November 4.” Source
Straight forward and to the point…works for me!

More polooza… Maybe Barack needs to take some ginkobaloba because his memory ain’t what it used to be. At a recent press conference Barack said that he was married for 15 years. Wrong dear. His wife’s staff released a press release to all media outlets correcting him saying that it ws indeed 16 years. Source

In the above video the efforts of a Californian music teacher are being compared to Nazi propaganda. The teacher invited some of her students to her home to film them singing a pro-Obama song. The original video was on Obama’s site but was removed due to protests. Before that could happen someone edited the video to compare it to videos featuring the Hitler Youth singing his praises in the ‘40s.
A lot of the controversy comes from the fact that this video looks like a large production with a large budget. The home was made over to look like a classroom and there was a large crew involved. Many believe it was paid for by Obama’s campaign as opposed to being a video that a little ol’ school teacher did by herself.
I don’t know how I feel about children being involved in politics. Learning about it yes, but anything beyond that kinda creeps me out because their little minds are so impressionable. Then again, its not like us adults seem to have a handle on it.

Greg Howard, a 7th grade social studies teacher I Jackson County has been suspended without pay. On Friday (September 26, 2008) he asked the class a question regarding Obama’s call for change, and proceeded to write out what the letters C-H-A-N-G-E stood for. “She told me that he wrote on the board ‘Can You Help A (expletive) Get Elected, and then laughed about it,” said Shelia Christian, a mother of one of Howard’s students. Jackson County Superintendent Danny Sims said Howard apparently repeated the action in more than one class, having made the comment in “a couple of periods.” Source
I’m at a loss…

IF YOU PLAN ON VOTING FOR OBAMA DON’T WEAR ANY OBAMA APPAREL TO THE VOTING POLLS. THIS INCLUDES HATS, T-SHIRTS, PINS, ETC. THIS IS CONSIDERED CAMPAIGNING AND CAMPAIGNING IS NOT ALLOWED AT THE POLLS. ONCE FOLKS HAVE TO GO HOME TO CHANGE THEY’RE LESS LIKELY TO COME BACK OUT TO VOTE.
SO YES, YOU’RE CATSUIT WITH OBAMA AIRBRUSH ACROSS YOUR CHEEKS IS REALLY CUTE BUT PUT IT ON AFTER YOU VOTE. UM KAY?
