Beyonce to Play a Black Panther?

Producer/writer/director Rachid Bouchareb is working on a biopic about Black Panther Angela Davis. He says that he wants Beyonce to play the part.
“I want Beyonce Knowles to play Angela Davis,” he said. “It’s a great dramatic role for her.” Source
Yea, it would be great for her. But what about the rest of us? The ones who don’t want to see her in a dramatic, comedic, or any other roll? What do we get out of this?
