Lisa Raye is in Hot Water

Lisa Raye had to testify against her husband in a government corruption case. She was married to the Premier of Turks and Caicos and during that time would fly her from LA to the island on charter jets, insisted she be the face of the island and charged T&C $300K for her appearances in ads and an additional $150K for a promotional appearance in the states.
Her response:
I actually did not want to get paid at all. I didn’t feel it was right for the First Lady to kind of charge the country. I was concerned about how that would look. Source
Yea she was concerned but not concerned enough to refuse it.
