Anna Nicole's Lawyers Want to Tie Up Inheritance Case

Even though both Anna Nicole Smith and her husband J. Howard Marshall are both deceased, the court dispute involving his millions is still ongoing. Her lawyers have asked the U.S. Supreme Court to resolve it.
When the two married he promised to give her half of his estate. She went to court against his son for $88.5 million of his monies but the cash is still tied up in the appeals process. His son, E. Pierce Marshall argues that he is the sole heir.
Her lawyers want the case to be settled so her daughter Dannielynn can get some of the cash before the IRS gets all of it. They’re already owed $125 million. Source
