Updates 59-60: Chris Brown Arrested

Update 59:

Word is that Chris will be pleading not guilty to the two felony charges against him in relation to the domestic violence case involving Rihanna.

He’ll be arraigned Monday (April 6, 2009) for assault and making criminal threats. Source

I’m writing this on Sunday so I’ll update you guys with the results of the arraignment after it goes down.

Update 60:

A dance group called Smoke Jumpers have a new song called “My Flow So Tight” that features the line “Chris Brown should get his ass kicked.” Radio stations all over the country have begun playing it.

"I was really upset with the way a lot of celebrities and people were handling the situation," said C. W. Griz, a member of the group. "Not enough people were speaking out against Chris Brown. What he did was a thousand percent wrong."

"We're not trying to take advantage of a horrible situation," said C.W. Griz. "We want to take a positive stance." So he says some of the proceeds will go to organizations benefiting battered women.

A real show of altruism would be for ALL of the proceeds to go to these charities. But whatevs. Who am I to speculate their intentions?
