27. Quincy Jones talks about whether or not Michael wanted to be white.
More Details… He says, “Oh, we talked about it all the time. But he’d come up with, “Man, I promise you I have this disease,” and so forth, and “I have a blister on my lungs,” and all that kind of B.S. It’s hard, because Michael’s a Virgo, man—he’s very set in his ways. You can’t talk him out of it. Chemical peels and all that stuff…”He then continued on talking about the “King of Pop” saying that he wanted to be white.
“It’s ridiculous, man! Chemical peels and all of it. And I don’t understand it. But he obviously didn’t want to be Black.” When asked if that’s what he really thinks Michael’s problem was, he replied, “Well what do you think? You see his kids?” Following that he was then asked if he thought Michael was beautiful before the chemical peels to which he replied, “Man, he was the most gorgeous guy.” Source
Um, I could make a comment about Quincy’s decision (conscious or not) to only date and marry white womens but I won’t. Oh, wait…I guess I just did.
Not that there’s anything wrong with that, I just find it interesting that he’d make these comments about Mike when he seems to have some issues with his own blackness. I’m just sayin.
28. The LAPD didn’t secure the scene at his home after he died.
More details…
The police are underfire for not securing the scean after his death. They say they didn’t do so because there were no signs of foul play and getting him to the hospital seemed like more of a priority.
They didn’t seal the mansion, get immediate search warrants, declare the home a crime scene or stop his family from taking things from the home. They say they were following procedure.
“If I was the chief detective on the case, I would have said, ‘We don’t know what’s going on. We should seal the scene,’” said defense attorney Harland Braun, who has represented celebrities including Robert Blake, Roseanne and Gary Busey. “You always have to think of the worst-case scenario and you have to think fast. I would have sealed the scene just because it was Michael Jackson.” Source
Shoulda, coulda, woulda…I hope that they can still get the info they need to find out what happened to him.

31. Michael’s doctor won’t be at the memorial.
More Details…
Dr. Conrad Murray, Michael’s personal physician and the man who was there when 911 was called, has opted to not attend his memorial. He says he'll be "mourning in private".
His spokeswoman, Miranda Sevcik, told People.com, "He (Murray) is in seclusion, not speaking even with family and friends, and won't attend the singer's memorial next week.
"He feels his presence would remind people of Michael Jackson's death, and the doctor would prefer that people remember his friend as he was in life." "He is completely off the radar until the toxicology results are revealed." Source
Newsflash Conrad: You’re not invited anyway.
32. ‘This Is It’ costumers will design Michael’s burial suit.
More Details…
Dennis Tompkins and Michael Bush, who have designed many of MJ’s outfits will be designing his burial attire. The two disigners who have been working with Mike for over 20 years were creating costumes for his ‘This Is It’ tour in London.
His memorial is Tuesday and he will be laid to rest in the cemetery of the stars, Westwood Cemetary, in Los Angeles. Source
33. Crazy fanatic wants the kids and estate.
More Details… Nona Paris Lola Jackson, a woman who claims to have been married to Michael as well as mothered his three children, plans to file a petition seeking his estate and custody of his children.
Nona, argues that "all properties, monies and assets must be transferred to [her] immediately."
She filed a 93 page handwritten document claims that they’re still married because Michael, "though died to this earth... lives with my father (Satan the devil) Khalid Lucifer". The filing states that they were legally separated in 2008. Source
Ma’am! Enough!
34. MJ had a malignant lesion removed from his nose just days before his death.
More Details…
According t oUs Weekly, Michael had a lesion removed from his nose only days before his death.
“Last week, I had two real sources call me and say he’s getting surgery right now for removal of skin cancer off his nose,” biographer Diane Dimond and an unnamed family source said. Source
I know that the autopsy said he had a band-aid or bandage of some sort on his nose at his time of death. This doesn’t mean he had any surgery done. I think I’ll wait for all the autopsy results to come back before believing that one.
35. Michael was planning a duet with son Prince.
More Details… Mike’s former publicist, Stuart Backerman told Us Weekly that Michael planed a duet with his son Prince to be performed during his comeback/farewell tour.
"He was planning on doing a short duet with his son, Prince. He knew his kids would enjoy it."
"He wanted his kids to see him perform at least once to get the vibe of the Michael Jackson mania.” Source
That’s kinda awesome but also very surprising. Michael was very private and protective of his children. So I’m kinda shocked that he’d put Prince in front of the world like that.
36. Michael was working on two albums at the time of his death.
More Details…
According to Billboard, Mike was working on two separate albums, one pop and one instrumental classical. His motivation was his fans and children.
Akonsays Michael told him, “My fans are still there. They still love me. They're alive.” He said, "His kids are like his first priority, and they had never seen him perform live. He was trying to create the most incredible show for his kids." Composer David Frank said, "He had two demos of two pieces he'd written, but they weren't complete. For one of them, he had a whole section of it done in his head. He had not recorded it. He hummed it to me as I sat at the keyboard in his pool house and we figured out the chords—I guess this recording I made is the only copy that exists of this music."He mentioned more instrumental music of his he wanted to record, including one jazz piece. I hope one day his family will decide to record this music as a tribute and show the world the depth of his artistry." Source
Hmm, I wonder what the classical album would have sounded like. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see because I’m sure they’re going to release his work posthumously.
37. Johnny Depp to play MJ in a biopic.
More Details…
Johnny Depp, along with Jamie Foxx, is being looked at to play Michael in a biopic.
“There are a number of offers being drawn up with a variety of angles to tell Michael’s incredible life story. Some involve using archive footage of Michael and his family and footage from his live shows…A couple would even have an actor cast to play Michael. Jamie Foxx has been mentioned, as has Johnny Depp. It all depends on how his family decide to honor him.”
Johnny denies he’s been approached for the part.
“No no no, I never ever thought of playing Michael Jackson in a film. I think if anyone should play Michael Jackson in a film it should’ve been Michael Jackson.” Source
This is one of the craziest rumors I’ve heard yet.
38. Debbie Rowe wants the kids.
More Details…
I don’t know if she’s the best candidate to take care of them since she was so willing to give them up but I give her brownie points for the restraining order. Joe doesn’t need to be anywhere near those kids. He’ll have them tap dancing on the corner to earn a few extra bucks.
39. MJ’s old manager wants his memorabilia to go on display.
More Details… Dr. Tohme Tohme, Michael’s physician/manager wants his memorabilia to go on display at Neverland. The items are currently instorage and Tohme wants the Jacksons to allow them to be exhibited at his old home so fans can enjoy them.
He says, "All his stuff is in storage and I am in control of it. It is Michael Jackson's items and memorabilia and awards and hopefully we will put it on display in Neverland or whatever the family decide to do with it." Source
If the Jacksons say its ok, Neverland will blow Graceland out of the park.
