Jermaine Gets Some New Ink

Producer Jermaine Dupri, recently showed his love for his girlfriend, singer Janet Jackson, by getting a tattoo of her on his torso posed like the virgin Mary.
Here’s what he said on his blog, Global 14 while he was on the table:
THIS IS ME ON THE TABLE TWITTERING WITH YALL WHILE I’M GETTING MY RIB CAGE DONE. THIS IS THE LONGEST I HAVE EVER SAT FOR A TAT, I HAD TO TAKE 100 BREAKS CAUSE THAT SHIT HURT LIKE HELL. SHOUT OUT TO MY MAN JUN CHA. I TOLD YALL I WAS GETTING SOMETHING BY HIM. IF YOU EVA IN LA AND YOU SERIOUS ABOUT TATTOOS YOU NEED TO HOLLA AT HIM. Source
Um, its bad enough getting someones name…but this is just plain ridiculous. I’ll never understand why people do this kinda stuff.

Pharrell Gets Tats Lasered Off

Pharrell Williams said a while ago that he wanted to rid himself of his tattoos. Well he finally went through with hit. He underwent laser surgery to burn them from his arms.

Laser treatment b**ches! Extra crispy," the rapper wrote on his blog of the procedure. "See, no skin graft here, just pure laser pain. This is our own version of Mythbusters! Laser is the new primer." Via his blog.

"It's going to be pricey, but f*** it, it's worth it. I got fire on my arms! I'm a grown man," he said in early 2008.

“There's an institute called the Wake Forest Institute in North Carolina for Regenerative Skin Treatment. It's basically like getting a skin graft, but you're not taking skin from your ass or your legs. These guys actually grow the skin for you." Source

That looks more painful than getting the tats to begin with.

Lily Regrets Copycat Tattoo

Lily Allen recently went out with Lindz and got matching “Shhh…” tattoos on their right index fingers. Well now she regrets it because she realized that they’re not so original. Rihanna got the same tattoo some months back.
Allen explains, "I've since found out Rihanna's got the same thing, so it's not really... I mean she's very cool - but I thought I was being original!" Source
Honey there ain’t a new idea under the sun. So when you get something permanent it better mean something. So sorry to those of you out there who have cartoon character tattoos. Sighs…what a shame.

Rih-Rih's Got Some New Ink

Rihanna explains her new tattoo via Rihanna Daily:
“It’s tribal,” she said at the charity’s annual Snowflake Lighting Ceremony in New York’s Grand Army Plaza. “It represents strength and love.”
Rihanna also revealed that she got the exotic-looking tat while in New Zealand for a recent tour date.
“It’s their traditional way of tattooing,” she said of the Maori-inspired geometric design. “I always wanted [one].” But even for a tattoo enthusiast like Rihanna, this particular method had one big drawback: “It hurt like hell!” Source
Yea tats are mad addictive. I haven’t gotten the urge to get another one in a while but I’m starting to get the itch.
