Joaquin Beats Down Heckler in Miami

Joaquin Phoenix showed up to a gig in Miami 4 hours late then proceeded to get into a fight with a heckler.
He announced: “We have a f***ing b**** in the audience.
Rapping: “I’ve got $1million in the bank. What have you got b****?”
Then he jumped into the crowd and attacked the man while the crowd chanted, “beat him up, beat him up”. Joaquin was escorted out and Casey Affleck caught the whole thing on camera for the documentary he’s been filming about Joaquin’s rap career.

Joaquin's Rap Career May not be a Joke to Him...

Joaquin Phoenix’s rep is insisting that his rap career is not a hoax or an elaborate joke.
According to a source:
"[Phoenix] said: 'It's a put-on. I'm going to pretend to have a meltdown and change careers, and Casey [Affleck] is going to film it,'" the source told Entertainment Weekly.
"He's going full out. He probably has told his reps that he's quit acting," the source added.
"Joaquin is very smart. This is very conscious. He has a huge degree of control.""The transition from one career to another is never seamless," his publicist Susan Patricola said of the critical reaction to Phoenix's first rap show."It should come as no surprise to anyone that Joaquin came from a musical family, in addition to winning a Golden Globe for his portrayal of Johnny Cash.She concluded: "He intends on exploring his musical interests despite speculative, negative or positive reactions."
