Kelis Airs out Nas Via Twitter

Kelis takes to the internet to address cheating husbands. Kelis, who is currently divorcing Nas, the father of her unborn child, talked to cheating husbands in a post on Twitter. Here’s some of the things she wrote:

“This lovely day I would like to touch on cheaters. ... Why be cowardly, why not go after what you really want? Do people know what they want? Probably not, which just goes into know and respecting one's self."

"Also we can discuss whores, I mean the nasty, sub-par tricks that participate in the cheating. Well let me say this, both parties are gross. And in reality they deserve each other."

"All the scumbag coward husbands and the less than impressive sluts unite! You can all go down in flames together! Hooray! Who's disgusted and bitter? LOL, not I said the cat! Wink wink."

"No seriously I have no [patience] for any of it, but the problem is women usually blame the women. I am here to say the husband is way more at fault. Now of course the woman/women who partake are stupid and pitiful. And honestly I will say it’s expected from younger girls 23 and under."

"But after that I do think as women we need to take more responsibility. Men are driven by something different than we are. And that's generally stupidity. Don't worry, we still love you guys. We just have to be smarter." Sounds

I always recommend taking the higher road …however, it feels so good to call folks on their nonsense, no?

This Ish Right Here...

Ok, so in the above video underground rapper, Charles Hamelton is out rapped by his on again off again girlfriend Briana Latrise…then jawed to boot.

Charles and Briana (Mary J. Blige’s step daughter by way of hubby Kendu) apparently have a really rocky relationship. Briana later apologized to Charles on her blog.
"We seriously have a sick, dysfunctional, high school relationship. But... It is what it is. Like I said earlier: I DID NOT MEAN TO DECK HIM. I was holding it back but the more I thought about what he said the more I wanted to hit him. Sorry Grandma. I felt justified, but the more I think about it now, it is an unfair situation for him: I'm a female so he can't hit me back with out a bunch of ppl talkn crap, and he still gets talked about if he doesn't hit me. We ALL know that if a woman feels she's man enough to hit a man, she's probably man enough to take a punch. I'm not sayin thats right eithe-Matter of fact, let's say this: Even tho it was a "rap battle" and that's the only reason he was going so hard...I would do it again in a heart beat. Somebody's gotta shut the kid up sometime!!! But I got love for him tho.LolWe are a sad, sad story. We just cross lines." Source

Sad indeed. They need counseling before someone (Charles) really gets lumped up.

King Children Battle Over Film Rights

The King kids are feuding. Steven Spielberg and Dream Works announced they’d purchased the rights to make a biopic about Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. However, Dexter King negotiated the deal without first talking to his siblings, Martin II and Bernice King. They contend that they were notified of the agreement via email as it was being announced.
Bernice says, “We are taking action. We cannot reveal what it is at this time. Dexter King has entered into an agreement without approval of his shareholders." Source
It’s sad that Dexter got all greedy and that siblings have to solve matters like this in court. I’m wonder what Martin would think if he could see them now.

Em Meant No Harm by Nick/Mariah Diss

Eminem did an interview with BBC Radio 1 host Tim Westwood and said that this recent beef with Nick Cannon over things he said about Mariah wasn’t a personal attack.
"With the song 'Bagpipes From Baghdad,' I kinda spazzed out on that record, but I guess I spazzed out on every record. There's a line on there that was a little harsh. It's a harsh line. ... But it's like this, the way I look at it: I had no idea he was gonna take it like he took it. I had no idea Nick Cannon was gonna start wildin' out on me. No pun intended."
On the track, Em spits lines like: "Nick Cannon better back the f*** up. I'm not playing, I want her back, you punk," and, "Nick Cannon, you pr***, I wish you luck with that f***in' whore".
After hearing the song, Nick retaliated in his blog.
"I heard about some of the things he was saying. I didn't read his blog or anything. But it is what it is. He's supposed to defend his wife, and I expected him to do that. But at the end of the day, it's a line I said; it's a song. What I actually meant to say is, I wish them the best. That's what I meant to say. That's the whole message of the record." Source
I’m sorry Em, but you can’t talk slick about folks…repeatedly, and say it’s not personal.

Whit and Bobbi Go at it in Restaurant

Word is that recently, while at dinner, Whitney Houston and daughter Bobbi Kristina got into it. The two shocked patrons of the ATL restaurant by screaming and cursing at each other as Whitney continually refilled her wine glass from a bottle on the table. Source
Well, Bobbi is of that age to try to curse yo mama out. I tried…once. Alls I’m gonna say is it changed my life…FOREVER. I’m surprised Bobbi still has lips on her face.

LaLa Ejected From B-Ball Game

VJ/Host LaLa Vasquez was escorted out of a Denver Nuggets game after getting into it with some fans. She says she and her son were verbally assaulted with racial remarks and even had ice thrown at them.

Shortly after the incident, Vasquez issued a statement that said: "Obviously the play-off games bring out the best and the worst in fans but what happened on Monday night with the racial slurs/threats, verbal attacks on my son and physical attacks to myself by irate fans was unacceptable. The fans were totally out of control. What the cameras captured was me defending myself and didn't show the abuse that was taking place."

If what’s she’s saying is trueI don’t blame her one damn bit. She doesn’t seem like the kinda diva (Vanessa Bryant) to just go off for no reason. I’m glad for the sake of her son she didn’t let herself get more heated but seems like those folks deserved a good molly wopping.

Nick Cannon vs. Eminem Pt. 2

Nick Cannon and Eminem are embroiled in a cat fight. First Em talked slick about Mimi in on of his songs, then Nick got back at him in a blog entry where he vowed to take him down. Now Eminem takes on Nick in a new song.

The lyrics go a lil something like this:

"Nick Cannon better back the f**k up. I'm not playing, I want her back, you punk. Nick Cannon, you pr**k, I wish you luck with that f**kin' whore."

Eminem once told listeners on his satellite radio show: "We're taking callers right now from any woman who wants to be peed on."
When someone on the show jokingly told him "I think Mariah Carey is on line 12, you wanna talk to her...she wants to get pissed on." Eminem laughed and said, "I already did that."
This whole thing is so stupid. Actually, Nick is stupid for responding to him. Now he’s revved up…he’s really gonna pick on him. Next thing we know, poor Nick will be found stuffed in his locker with an atomic wedgie.

Obamapolooza!!!

According to the National Enquirer, Michelle is being urged by advisers to distance herself from Lady O, because they don’t want the White House to appear too Hollywood.

Some feel the advisers, Valerie Jarrett and Desiree Rogers are jealous of the relationship.

“Michelle had promised Oprah all kinds of special behind-the-scenes access for her upcoming Oprah TV channel,” disclosed a pal of the media mogul.

“But now Michelle is backing out - telling Oprah she has to go through ‘the proper channels’ and speak to her advisers.”

“[Oprah] believes Michelle is being manipulated by jealous advisors - such as White House social secretary Desiree Rogers and another of Barack’s old Chicago friends, Valerie Jarrett, who moved to Washington, DC, to work in his administration,” said the friend of Oprah.

“Desiree, in particular, felt Michelle had been relying on Oprah too much in some aspects to do the job that she had been hired to do as social secretary.”

“Michelle had been calling Oprah for advice for a long time regarding her wardrobe, her makeup, her hair - and it’s continued since the inauguration.”

“The calls left Desiree steamed, because Michelle was side-stepping her on things she thought she was hired to do.”

“This past Valentine’s Day, for instance, Oprah even arranged for Michelle and Barack to celebrate at a fancy Chicago restaurant, where the executive chef had once been Oprah’s personal chef.”

“Desiree was angry, because behind the scenes she was working out a special dinner for the first couple in DC, which she had to embarrassingly cancel.”

“Michelle, who doesn’t want to lose Desiree, and is caught in the middle of this jealous feud, has been going to her more and more lately.”

“The first lady told Desiree she’ll now be in charge of her family’s TV spots, and Desiree is coming up with all kinds of excuses why Oprah can’t get special access anytime soon for her upcoming TV network.”

“Both [Valerie Jarrett and Desiree] want Oprah’s impact diminished over time.” Source

This sounds catty as hell, and I’d like to think that grown women wouldn’t sink to such lows. However, seeing what I’ve seen grown ass women do lately, I wouldn’t be surprised if this is true.

Michelle Explains Fight at Airport

Michelle Rodriguez is defending the fact that she attacked a photog at a Mexican airport who was flashing pics as she was brought out in a wheelchair.
Rodriguez says, "I passed out after coming out of the airplane after, like, visiting six different countries in 10 days... They put me in a wheelchair because I couldn't breathe." She adds, "That's called fight or flight. I just don't think that's nice. I mean who cares? Who wants to see me go into a car, coming out of the airport. "That guy's really lucky he has long legs." Don Cornelius Gets Probation for Smackdown

Paw-Paw Cornelius has been sentenced to three years probation after pleading no contest to misdemeanor spousal battery charges. He’s charged with dissuading a witness from filing a police report, assault with a deadly weapon, and three counts of spousal battery against his wife Viktoria.
Don has to turn over all his weapons and Viktoria has been granted a three year restraining order against him. Source
I’m really gonna need folks to stop being up their womens…this is getting out of hand.

Joaquin Beats Down Heckler in Miami

Joaquin Phoenix showed up to a gig in Miami 4 hours late then proceeded to get into a fight with a heckler.
He announced: “We have a f***ing b**** in the audience.
Rapping: “I’ve got $1million in the bank. What have you got b****?”
Then he jumped into the crowd and attacked the man while the crowd chanted, “beat him up, beat him up”. Joaquin was escorted out and Casey Affleck caught the whole thing on camera for the documentary he’s been filming about Joaquin’s rap career.

Solo Takes a Stab at Former DC Member

Solange gets at LeToya Luckett, et al, for supposedly stealing the whole “60’s girl group” idea from her.
She says “i remember being n Idaho 4 years ago, pulling out all my old Martha& the Vandellas, Marvelettes and Supremes records,coming up with a vision wanting to create a new age 60’s girls group and modernize it. started working on soul-angel finding 2 girls and watching old shows. this was before amy winehouse so people thought i was truly bugging out. i did i decided wiith the two girls..watched about 25 old shows of all the girl groups and asking my sis to help me come up with moves ( she had just done dreamgirls) worked my but off on references…after i did i decided alot of folks were digging it but alot of folks thought were confused about “the look” now every which a way i turn..everyone is in a 60’s girl group reference. its like traditional r&b again to do the 60’s sound, look ect.

I like Solo but you can’t call someone else out for biting when…well, that’s the definition of what you did. You wouldn’t be able to have a ‘60s girl group sound if there weren’t, you know, girl groups in the ‘60s who did it first. I’m just saying.

Suge gets Knocked the Fu@k Out!

Suge Knight got beat up…again. He was at a private party thrown by 944 Magazine at the W Hotel in Scottsdale, when his entourage got into it with Akon’s entourage in VIP. The cops were called and got there just in time to see Rober Carnes Jr, Akon’s body guard, punch Suge in the head twice.
He was charged with felony aggravated assault, due to the "severity of the victim's injuries."
Suge had to be treated at the hospital for facial injuries, he supposedly has several face factures. Source
Damn Suge…talk about a rough year…I guess karma is bitch huh.

Etta Takes Back her Beyonce/Obama Statements

Etta James is now saying that she was just joking when she said she’d whoop Beyonce’s ass, as well as insulting President Obama.
“I didn’t really mean anything,” James said. “Even as a little child, I’ve always had that comedian kind of attitude. … That’s probably what went into it.”
She did admit “feeling left out of something that was basically mine, that I had done every time you look around.”
When asked if she could have done a better job than Bey she said, “I think so. That’s a shame to say that.”
As for Obama, James said she “always thought he was handsome and he was cool.”
“I still had my joke about him,” she said. “That might be horrible. The President might not ever like me in life.” Source

Etta James is PISSED!

Etta James is gangsta as hell. She was performing in Seattle last week when she lasted out at Beyonce for singing “At Last” at the inauguration. She told the crowd, "I tell you that woman he had singing for him, singing my song, she gonna get her ass whupped," sarcastically calling her "The great Beyoncé."
She added, "I can't stand Beyoncé... [she] had no business ... singing my song that I been singing forever."
Then she attacked Obama. "You know your President, right? You know the one with the big ears? He ain't my President." Source
The thing I LOVE about old folks is that they don’t give a DAMN.

"Gravy" Pu tthe Smack Down on Wife

Now that the film “Notorious” is out, the film’s star, Jamal “Gravy” Woodard’s past is coming back to haunt him.
According to court documents he was recently charged with misdemeanor assault, menacing and harassment after a domestic incident with his wife, Trina Younger, last September (08).
However, her mother says, “I know he wouldn’t hit her. He’s not like that. Most definitely, they have a good relationship. That’s impossible, I think it’s made up. He’s a loving husband and I never heard of anything like that before in my life.” Source
Hmmm, I wonder if mama is sellin out her daughter so she can continue to live pretty. She currently lives in the couple’s home.

Faizon Love Involved in an Altercation

The police want to talk to comedian Faizon Love because he was reportedly involved in a fight with a man at the Standard Hotel. By the time police arrived on the scene he had left. Source
I heard Faizon has done this before but I can’t help picturing him just being a big ol’ teddy bear. I guess I assume a kind nature because of how “sweet” and gentle his character was in Money Talks. Has to be one of the best scenes ever!

Possible Janet and Beyonce Brawl

According to the National Enquirer, Janet Jackson is pissed about some statements Beyonce made about the Jackson family not too long ago. Beyonce said, I “I grew up upper class. Private school. My dad had a Jaguar. We’re African-American and we work together as a family, so people assume we’re like The Jacksons.
“But I didn’t have parents using me to get out of a bad situation.”
But a source tells the tabloid, “Beyonce’s remark came out of left field and really stung Janet. She blew up.
“Yes, Janet and the Jackson family came from Gary, Indiana, and there was a time they barely squeaked by. But Janet has many loving memories and is incensed that Beyonce would make a crack like that.
“Janet wanted to know why Beyonce had to mention her family. They’re not friends and barely know each other. She feels Beyonce went out of her way to tell the world she’s from the upper class and the Jacksons were like a bunch of dirty gutter rats.
“Janet is proud of her family and how they came from nothing and became superstars.
“Not only is Janet telling everyone who will listen that Beyonce has a lot of growing up to do and that she needs to stop trying to impress everyone, she’s planning to confront Beyonce herself and read her the riot act.” Source

Katy Apologizes to Lily

Katy Perry has apologized to fellow singer Lily Allen for describing herself as "a skinner version of Lily Allen".When Lily originally heard this she shot back at Perry saying that Perry’s label signed her as an American Version of her. "Yeah, I made a joke about [that] earlier this year,” Katy said “I was just kind of joking and trying to be funny. I didn't mean anything by it. Comedians are not necessarily to be taken super seriously." Source
Um, yea but you’re not a comedian…you’re a singer. Stick to your day job bish cus if I know right Lily can kick your skinny ass.
