PETA is After Michael Vick

Animal rights group PETA has it out for Michael Vick.
“Saying sorry and getting his ball back after being caught enjoying killing dogs in hideously cruel ways for many years doesn’t cut it,” PETA president Ingrid Newkirk said. “Commissioner Goodell knows that he has an obligation to the league and to millions of fans, including children… to make sure Michael Vick is mentally capable of remorse before he can touch, let alone wear, an NFL uniform again.” PETA’s letter comes following 18-months of negotiations with Vick’s reps about an agreement for Vick to film an anti-dogfight advertisement after his release from prison. Michael Vick's Belongings Sold for $10

So first Michael Vick gets locked up and looses his job. Then he files for bankruptcy. Now all his ish has been sold. He had a bunch of his belongings that were in a storage locker that hadn’t been paid for.
The things ended up going on the auction block but only 5 people showed. The belongings went to a man named Edward Howard, who says he got the whole lot for only $10.
The man says that he’s made some money from selling furniture but won’t sell certain personal effects like pictures. He hopes to meet Vick one day so he can personally hand the things over. Source

Givis Us Free!

Michael Vick could be getting out sooner rather than later. He applied to a prison monitored drug rehabilitation program. His participation in this program can result in him getting out in 12 months as opposed to the original sentence of 24 months. If that happens he has a better chance of playing football by the 2009 season. That is, as long Roger Goodell, the NFL Commissioner, doesn’t tack on a long suspension once Vick is let out of the clink. Source

Well I’m glad he may be getting out earlier. I mean I’m sad for all the dead lil' puppy dogs and all, but 2 years?! They’re messin' with football here. I won’t have it. I just won’t have it!
