Contrary to what I previously reported Raven-Symone did not have a baby. Her publicist has released the following statement:
Raven-Symoné is not pregnant nor did she give birth. She will be performing TONIGHT, July 9th at Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson, New Jersey at 7:00PM.” Source

Raven-Symone Gives Birth?!?!

So there’s a rumor that Raven Symone had a baby with Jussie Smollet, former child actor and brother of Jurnee Smollet…oh, and also gay. She is said to have just given birth to the baby girl about a month ago and named her Lilianna Pearman. Source
This is so random and crazy that it just might be true.

Raven Talks Weight

Actress Raven Symone says its hard dealing with body critics and thanks her mom for giving her much needed self-esteem boosts.
“She’ll call me and say, ‘You’re very pretty,’ ” says the former That’s So Raven star. “I’m like, ‘Thanks, Mommy!’ and that’s my confidence for the day.”“People come up to me and have certain words for me, but you know what I do? I say, ‘I’m healthy, I exercise, I believe in myself, and I think I’m beautiful,’ ” she says. “You just have to learn how to transform the pressures into something that doesn’t soak into you on a personal level. You see it, you breathe past it, you don’t let it sink into your self-esteem.” And to enforce her positive mantra, if something’s got her down, Raven has a simple technique. “At the end of the day I’ll call my best friend and yell and scream and get it out,” she says. “And the next morning, it’s out of my system. Get ‘em thickums! I hear ya. One can only be so confident. I had a guy in my building once ask me if I was pregnant. When I angrily snapped ‘NO!’, he proceeded to say but your stomach is so, and then made a gesture as if to say it was round and protruding. SIR! I’m convinced the world is full of rude assholes. Wait, what was my point? Oh nevermind. VIVE LE CHUB!

Here’s Raven performing at Six Flags in ATL. Thank you Raven for showing the world that us Pleasantly Plump Club members can still pop, lock and drop it. We may split our pants, sweat like a pig, and possibly have a stroke while doing it. But damnit if we’re not determined.
On another note…I know it's just Six Flags, so not much went into production. But the basement card table chairs…SMH…those damn chairs. Not OK.

Make Room For Da Big Girls!

Raven-Symone discusses fame and staying true to herself in the most recent issue of Jet:
‘”I have to stay true to who I am’, says Disney star Raven-Symoné, 22, regarding her new self-titled CD, which is slated for release April 29. ‘I am not going to sing about sex, drugs and violence, that’s just not who I am’, she continues. As she prepares for the CD’s release and a 55-city Pajama Party concert tour, the confident and talented entertainer hopes this project will fill a void in today’s music. We need some music that will open people’s minds up and give them other things to think about other than the same things we have been giving them for a while. Maybe my album can do that.”
She also talks about loving her body:
‘When I look in the mirror and see how voluptuously fabulous I am, I can’t even worry about it. I am just fabulous.’”
It’s taken a while for this lady to grow on me. Back in her “That’s what Little Girls are Made Of” days I could have throttled her with a small pipe. But she seems to have grown into quite a self assured confident woman. Way to stick up for chubby chicks everywhere. Me and the rest of the Pleasantly Plump Posse salute you!
