WHEN VAGINAS ATTACK!!

Tyra’s show this past Monday was all about the vagina. She said ““I have wanted to do this show for two years. I know for a lot of women talking about what is going on in our bodies is extremely difficult, but it is incredibly important. We should be able to talk to our daughters, sisters, mothers and friends about our bodies and not be embarrassed. I hope after this show women will not be ashamed about what’s up down there. My mother told me to look at myself because, ‘It’s just another part of your body that needs to be healthy just like your eyes, your nose, your ears, your mouth and everything else.’ ”
During the show the audience gets an anatomy quiz, she talks to gynocologists, and she takes a 28-year-old woman to her first gyno appointment.
I’m not embarrassed to talk about my vagina and I don’t think most women are. I just don’t see the need to. I don’t want to talk to you about it. I don’t want you talking to me about it. My mom, broke it down to me (very clinically...she's a nurse) what it is, what does and can go on down there, and how to keep it clean and germ free. We haven’t discussed it since and I think we’re both ok with that.
And another thing, what is with that nasticle not going to the gynecologist til she’s 28?! My mom took me and my sister when we were 16. We went whether we liked it or not and she beat it into us that we were going to continue to go once a year or ad nausium. As a matter of fact I urge all of you to make an appointment with ur doctors today. And please, don't feel obligated to debrief me afterwards. Thanks!
