MJ and His New Kicks

Right in line the the ‘Go Green’ movement Michael Jordan has thrown his hat into the game and is marketing environment friendly Jordans. The limited edition sneakers will only be available in 23 stores and will cost $230. In the future they’ll hit more stores and will be available for $185. Don’t get it twisted the shoes are not completely green. But and however, its creators did everything in their power to make sure the materials used created the least possible amount of waste. New machines were even created to be more environment friendly. Hmm, well I’m all for huggin' trees and such. But $230? For this ugly mess? Hell to the no! I’d much rather buy a pair of sneakers for a fraction of the cost and have them NEVER biodegrade. But whatevs. I don’t rock Jordans anyway. I’m strictly a chucks kinda girl.
