Barack Obama effigies surfaced on the University of Kentucky campus hanging from a noose. They were taken down as soon as they were discovered and university officials are looking into the matter. The university president, Lee Todd also apologized and said he is "personally offended and deeply embarrassed by this disgusting episode." Source
I recall hearing recently of a Sarah Palin effigy being hung from a noose as well. White or black, this isn’t ok and is a hate crime. Whoever committed these heinous acts should be fully prosecuted.
