Jacksonville Jaguars OT Richard Collier was shot 14 times while sitting in a car outside an apartment building a few weeks back. His doctor, Andy Kerwin says that he’s paralyzed below the waist and his left leg had to be amputated due to blood clots and other complications. Also, since the incident he’s suffered bouts of pneumonia, infections and renal failure. He was on a ventilator for three weeks and has absolutely no memory of the shooting. But his doctor feels he’s improved greatly.
"His overall condition has improved greatly," Kerwin said. "We expect him to be discharged soon."
SourceLord! I can only pray he has the love and support of his family and friends to get him through this.
