Martin Lawrence my grace the small screen soon. The comedian turned TV star, turned movie star has a few shows in development with his production company Runteldat. One show has been picked up by Fox. It will be an animated series about Martin Lawrence’s life growing up in the D.C. area. In addition, Starz has picked up a show about an interracial family based on the comedy of Gary Owen.
Darice Rollins, Runteldat’s director of development, added “We all thought he is hilarious.”
The third show, which hasn’t been picked up yet, is a family comedy set in a funeral home.
