YBF caught up with Larry Johnson and Rozunda “Chilli” Thomas looking awefully cozy. The two were spotted leaving Bongos in Miami the other night hand in hand. While inside, chilli was said to be sitting between hislegs all night. Source

Chilli of TLC fame recently opened up to Essence Magazine.

On TLC Being The Best Selling Group

Thank you for acknowledging that because everyone always credits Destiny’s Child as the biggest-selling female group, but it’s just not true. You can’t count album sales for each solo project collectively and come up with numbers.

On whether Tameka broke up her relationship with Usher

When people ask whether or not I think she is the reason we broke up, I have no clue what Usher was doing outside of our relationship. When we broke up, it was because it wasn’t working out. I later found out there was some infidelity, but he never said who that woman or who those women were, because I’m sure it was more than one. Again, I heard things, but Tameka never crossed my mind. The first time I strolled across that [infamous] beach photo I thought somebody photoshopped that. I didn’t believe it. I did wonder if she was one of the girls, but again, I never asked. My memory of her was that she was the stylist, because she dressed Usher and I for an event one time. Honestly, those are questions I never asked him, and I’v edistanced myself so much from him. We aren’t communicating at all. We broke up, had conversation a few times maybe two years after we broke up, and it was a wrap. I think what keeps it alive at all is these [blogs] speculating whether we’d get back together.

On being called a homewrecker while dating CNN’s T.J Holmes

…let’s clear this up right now. T.J. Holmes was divorced and had been divorced. It wasn’t a situation where he was going through a divorce and still married. I would never date a man that is legally separated or tied to another woman. We dated, but it was brief. I’m a godly person and try to do all the things that God wants me to do. I have a conscience; I could never do that. Besides, I want to get married and present a healthy wonderful relationship for myself and my 11-year-old son.

On Coping With The Death of Left Eye

I see her family every now and then. I still have my moments and probably always will. There’s not a day that goes by that she doesn’t cross my mind. When I do some interviews, I get so upset when people refer to me as “the former member of TLC.” I am always and still am a part of TLC. We are forever no matter what. As long as T-Boz and I are living, we are keeping Left Eye’s memory alive.

There was a rumor floating around that the two remaining members of the girl group TLC, Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins and Rozanda “Chilli” Thomas wre going to replace Lisa “Left Eye” Lopez who dided about 6 years ago, with rapper Lil’ Kim. But T-Boz and Chilli set the record straight by issuing a statement denying any replacement.
Chilli and T-Boz's joint statement:
"We want our fans to know that replacing our sister Lisa is not, nor has it ever been an option. TLC will always consist of Chilli and T-Boz.
Lisa's spirit lives on through us. She cannot be replaced. We may collaborate with other artists, just like many other groups have done, but we will never add anyone to TLC.
We love Lil Kim and have been talking about collaborating with her for awhile. We hope to have an opportunity to work with her in the near future."

Glad to hear this was just a rumor. Seems almost disrespectful to try to replace her, especially with the likes of Lil’ Kim.

In Other Left Eye News… Lisa Lopes’ 2nd album, that she was working on at her time of death, will be released November 11th. The album, entitled Eye-Legacy, hosts 12 never before heard tracks and collaborations with Chamillionaire, Lil' Mama, Bobby Valentino and Missy Elliott. It’ll also feature songs from her debut solo album Supernova that was never released in the US.
"We hope people understand the message in Lisa's music and appreciate her as not just a member of TLC, but as a solo artist as well," the Lopes family said in a statement. "This album is Left Eye's musical gift to her fans and adds to the beauty of her legacy."
A percentage of the proceeds from the album sales will go to the Lisa Lopes Foundation and her orphanage in Honduras. Source

Way Harsh

Usher is so damn rude. You'll understand why I said that in a moment. A while back Chilli did an interview with RWD Magazine saying the following:
Usher is the one that I truly did love. Like that was truly my first adult love. I love him very much and I will always love him. I don’t know how you love someone that deeply and just stop loving them. I’m not in love with him anymore but I can’t say that I don’t love him anymore. And of course I do want him to be happy and all but me and him had what I never had in any of my other relationships, and that was chemistry. Read More

Well, the same magazine asked Usher how he felt about Chili’s statements:
Do you think it’s appropriate for her to make these comments considering you’re married with a child?
I mean, I think it’s a little unrealistic, I’m married (laughs), I’m not a boy. It’s been three years past, you know? But we all have unrealistic goals too. Like shoot, I will always forever love Katie Holmes and Halle Berry. I don’t feel anyway about it. It does appear maybe to be a plug for something. She got a record coming or something? Source

Chilli "Comes Clean" on the Usher Breakup

Chilli (nee Rozanda Thomas), of TLC is finally talking about her split from Usher. She insists that their breakup has nothing to do with what he said on his Confessions album. She told Sister2Sister Magazine, "We were together when he was recording that album. I was in the studio with him on most of those songs, so I guess people just don't do the math with it all. We didn't break up because of infidelity or anything like that. We broke up because we just did not work, and that's it." Source

Eh, I see. So all that talk of cheatin’ on her, being trapped in a relationship, and getting jump offs pregnant while he was with her had nothing to do with their breakup…interesting.

Floyd Mayweather and...Chilli? WTF?

Word on the street is that boxer Floyd Mayweather took out Chilli (TLC) on a shopping spree in Vegas. He reportedly bought her 9 pairs of shoes and spent around $4,600 at a boutique at Caesars. Source. I’m thinkin' that they met or started getting cozy when they both appeared at the King of the Ring Rap Battle during Money Mayweather Weekend in February.
Color me confused but this is an awfully random couple. I thought Chilli was marrying some newscaster dude anyway. Plus, one would think that with that boomin' bag business she could buy her own damn shoes. (Please insert sarcasm at will.)

I Got A Man Dat I Think I'm Gon' Luv Fo'eva

Chilli (nee Rozonda Thomas of TLC fame) may be heading to the alter. Chilli, who was our favorite lady for Usher seems to have it bad for a news anchorman by the name of T.J. Holmes. A friend of hers told star magazine that "It's getting serious. She says this is so different from any other relationship she's had - that it's so wonderful. They are madly in love." Nice catch Chilli! Way to show up Ursher for that he/she he some how impregnated.
