Fanny, who has been starring as Celie in Oprah Winfrey Presents: The Color Purple, has been slacking. In the seven months in the role she's missed 50 performances! She’s costing the show a boatload of money because apparently when the headlining star doesn’t perform the ticket holder can get a refund or rain check.
Sources say Fantasia’s out a lot because “she’s simply not up to the grueling Broadway schedule.”
