Brandy Dropped from Label, Leaves Managemen

Singer Brandy has been dropped from her Epic Records label because of the poor sales of her latest album ‘Human.’
"Her friend Brandon Creed that works as an A&R representative at Epic Records has been making calls to see if other labels would be interested in signing her," a record company source said.She’s also left her management, Roc Nation because of "creative differences." "Roc Nation no longer reps Brandy," the publicist Jana Fleishman said in an e-mail yesterday.A rep for Brandy denied that the singer has been dropped from the label.
"They have not dropped her. We are trying to get a release from them. We're in waiting. And Brandy and Roc Nation parted amicably." Source

Brandy's Tryin' To Hook Her Brother Up

While Keyshia Cole is fighting rumors that she’s datying rapper Maino, some of her star friends are trying to hook her up. Recently in an interview with DJ Mami Chula, brandy said she wants to hook Keyshia up with her bother Ray J cus she’d be perfect for him.

Brandy Returns to TV

Singer/actress Brandy Norwood may be heading back to the small screen soon. She’s supposedly going to return to TV starring in a new show, This Little Piggy. The show follows three siblings who move back in together. Brandy will play the part of the youngest brother’s diva wife. Source

Man Denies Brandy's Million Dollar offer

Marouane Hdidou, the man whose wife was killed in the car accident involving singe Brandy, has rejected a $1.2 million settlement offer. Brandy offered to pay $200 of her own money, while her insurance company agreed to pay the remaining $1 million. When he rejected this amount his lawyers withdrew from the case. Source
I understand his wife’s life was priceless but it seems to me that he may have been getting greedy.

Brandy Talks About Her Bro and Whitney

Singer Brandy opens up about her little brother Ray J and his relationship with Whitney Houston. She insists that they’ve been nothing more than friends
She tells Rap-Up magazine, "Every time I ask Ray J about Whitney he always says that's just his friend. He's not dating her. And I don't think that he would lie to me.
"I said, 'Well Ray, that's not the way it looks. People think that you and Whitney are in a relationship.' He was like, 'Well, that's what they're gonna think, but I'm telling you the truth and I'm not dating Whitney. Whitney and I are just really good friends and that's it.' "When I ask Whitney, she says the same thing... I think he's telling the truth."

Brandy Sued by Different Accident Victem

Brandy spoke out recently about how her life has changed after a car accident that left a woman dead. The woman’s family is suing for $50 million and now others involved in the accident are trying to get paid for their suffering. Donald Lite filed papers this month claiming that Brandy failed to follow road regulations, resulting in the crach which left him with “serious and permanent injuries”. Source
I’d say that Brandy is paying severly both emotionally and financially for this tragic accident.

Fredro Starr is Talkin Outta His Ass

Fredro Starr of Onyx recently spoke to C.O.D. DVD Magazine and told them that he gets into fights cus he’s so good looking. He also said that his Moesha co-star, Brandy Norwood was obsessed with him and has a good head game.

Will Brandy be Heading to Court?

Prosecutors are waiting until the final hour to decide whether or not they are going to charge singer Brandy with vehicular manslaughter for the accident she was in last Christmas causing Awatef Aboudihan’s death. Bill Sayid, the lawyer of the victim’s husband Maurouane Hdidou, told TMZ “There is a death and obviously reckless driving involved, which is enough evidence for an involuntary manslaughter charge. As to why the City Attorney has taken this long? I think we would all like to know. Brandy continues to live life with really no negative results … doing what Brandy is doing … as if though nothing has occurred here. Thanksgiving just passed and he [Hdidou] was all alone — he has no family here.”
Hmm, I’m a little conflicted here. If the accident was truly caused due to her negligence then I definitely think she should have to suffer the consequences wither it be jail time, fines, or what have you. But if it was an accident then how do you punish that? I’m sure though if it were my mom or sister killed in that crash I’d want her hanged regardless. What do you guys think? When someone dies as a result of an “accident” how can we reconcile laying blame and enforcing punishment?
