Eartha Kitt Shunned by the Oscars?

Andrew Freedman, former publicist to the late, great Eartha Kitt is upset that she was excluded from this year’s Oscar tribute to stars who had passed away. Eartha died on Christmas after battling colon cancer.
He tells the New York Post, "The producers are either 12 or have been living under a rock for the past 60 years. It's clear that they thought that publicist Warren Cowan was more of a household name. Go figure." Source
Brewer insists that he saw her in the tribute but I totally don’t remember it. I’m currently looking for a clip that shows the full segment because Eartha was an American treasure. I only hope to be as sexy an sassy as she was when I get to be 81 years old.

Eartha Kitt, Dead at 81

Sultry, sexy, siren of yesteryear, Eartha Kitt is dead at the age of 81. Mother Kitt dide in NYC of colon cancer on Christmas day. Eartha, known for roles as Catwoman on Batman and Lady Eloise on Boommerang will be missed by family, friends and numerous friends. Source

Bey to Play Eartha Kitt?

According to ABC News it has been confirmed that Beyonce will be playing silver screen siren, Eartha Kitt, in a biopic about her life. Source
Eartha Kitt is one in a million and no one, absolutely no one, could play off this part. But if there were a list of actresses who should not play her, Beyonce is at the top of the list. I absolutely, positively veto this idea. I’m starting a petition. Sign it and pass it along…please and thank you.
